Now I never said she didn't. I did actually know this too. But who grabbed the bull by the horns.

Fuuuuck jegga. I love Connelly as much as anyone, but using Labyrinth to perve on is a bit suss (but I absolutely love that movie).

Shit I didn't realise she was only 17 in labyrinth , my boy and I used to alternate it and flight of the navigator pretty much every werkend or so when he was little and staying at my place.

She's got quite an extensive portfolio of on screen nudity though , it started in the hot spot.

The movie was the haunted , apparently they used a body double for most of the scenes though.

Just saw the secret life of Walter Mitty, quite a cool film . It probably won't give the academy any sleepless night over who to give an Oscar too but it was a lot better than I imagined hollywood doing the story.

The Motel Life - Emile Hirch, Stephen Dorff and Dakota Fanning. IMDB says it is a drama mystery thriller...just a artsy drama IMO. One of the brothers hits and kills someone in his car by accident, but he leaves the scene, destroys his car and they then decide to flee, pretty average, although only 1hr 25.

best Man Down - Justin Long, described by IMDB as. Comedy Drama...yes there were a few laughs, but it was more a drama, about how Longs character discovers things about his best man after he dies on his wedding night. Ok watch if you like those feel good kind of movies (the death is at the start)

Just got back from the second Hobbit film, the action scenes and the dragon are great maybe a bit too much cgi though. It departs from the book a fair bit though and includes Evangaline Lilly in it and she still looks very hot, the obvious drawback to this is with her career in a downhill slide since Lost I'd been hoping for a sex tape or nude scenes from her. I guess we can all rule that out.

Its probably unpatriotic to say this but I hated the lord of the rings, I watched it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and as it went on I loathed it more and more, in particular Frodo and Sam who were just a pair of whining little shits and all the soft focus lingering homeoerotic shots on Frodo were embarrassing. The two other clowns who showed up to the premier in Wellington with the word "home" written on their backs [neither of them has decided to settle here thank fuck] were better in the same way that giardia is better than dysentary.

Isn't it becoming cool to say you don't like LOTR as well in NZ? Hear Radio personalities ripping into it all the time. Who cares if you don't like it, it's a movie.

Out of the Furnace - pretty good cast (Christian Bale, Casey Affleck, Woody harrelson, Forest Whitaker and then Ridley Scott and Leonardo Di Caprio on the producing team)

Anywho, a pretty decent flick about Bales character who is always trying to right by his family and his younger brother Affleck is back from Iraq and can't stay out of trouble, and trouble takes the form of a convincingly nasty Harrelson.

Bit light on storyline and a bit slow in patches, but still a decent watch.

Found this amusing though;

Are you meaning me when you say who cares if you don't like it? I was just giving my opinion on it, I thought as the trilogy went on it was a real disappointment . It might have been better if I saw it when it came out , the effects etc might be a bit dated now and add to the cheesiness of it.

Edit, it also had no boobs in it

I mean that, you are entitled not to like it, everyone has their own opinion, but I do think some think it is cool to bag it now.

What I don't like is people that give a movie shit without having seen it, which im think some do with The Hobbit because of SPJ and it being filmed in NZ, much like I expect some have been and will continue to be critical of the Avatar films without ever seeing them.

Edit - which is that? Just looked on his bio and found a Vietnam vet one, Rescue Dawn

I think a trailer is enough for me to decide to not see a film, but I'd not then pass an opinion on the film having only seen the trailer.
