@jegga look, i know you couldn't follow it because of the distinct lack of tits, but here's a real quick summation

    it's. a. movie.

    I. Know . That.

It was a collection of scenes involving some fantastic acting without a coherent plot.

Plus it had no tits in it.

Also the Doors has aged badly too and it has tits in it.

@jegga I find the plot coherent - you don't have to believe in the conspiracy to follow the movie. And NZ gets a mention. 🙂

Not aged badly - JFK, Salvador, and Platoon (actually all of his Vietnam trilogy) but yeah Any Given Sunday and the Doors have aged badly. Talk Radio is still pretty good but I haven't seen Wall Street in years.

Do you mean devastated? If so you've been in Australia too long. :face_with_stuck-out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed with it, sat down thinking yeah a cool fun American Football movie. I gave it half an hour then decided I have better things to do with my life.

Oh well, I wont bother re-watching Wall Street and didn't see the sequel either.

@mariner4life I watched it just recently. Oliver Stone is a top grade conspiracy theorist. It's a great cast too.

Also tried to re-watch Any Given Sunday by Stone recently - damn, it is almost unwatchable. I remember it being awesome with cool US football scenes but it's not cool and the football scenes are pretty shit.

Elizabeth Berkeley’s tits are pretty watchable. Rest of the movie is pretty meh apart from the Pacino rant.

I like JFK for Costner and Bacons acting , I liked the movie so much when it came out that I tracked down the book which bares only a passing resemblance to the movie. The author plays the guy that interviews Jack Ruby in his cell .
Stone conspiracies are all over the place and hard to follow.

Sounds like someone needs to rewatch Showgirls.

Got to reduce everything to 4 letters if possible for easy spelling. If the word already has four letters and it's still too difo then you reduce it to 4X, being short for XXXX

    Just thought I'd expo.

It's important to shorten everything, even if by doing so, you actually make the word longer...

I did a Mission Impossible marathon viewing recently and watched the previous 5 movies before seeing Fallout. Sure there are some plot holes in the each of the movies, but they are great fun and the latest installment might be the best of the lot. Props to Tom Cruise for doing all his own stunts. The scenes outside the Burj Khalifa in Ghost Protocol are unreal when you watch the behind the scenes footage.

I also went to see The Equalizer 2 to get my Denzel fix.

    Me liked, Morena foxy AF.

4 X Force out of 5 robust teenagers from NZ.

Is the Marvel Universe is just one universe, unlike the DC world which has multiple universes and therefore different Batman/Superman etc...s

I watched Ant Man yesterday. Another thoroughly enjoyable Marvel effort. The special effects are good as usual. But it's the human side of the story that sets marvel films apart, take away the cartoon aspects and there are real world issues that people can relate to in there. 4 fire ants out of 5 ex-assistants turned crazy and evil

That's one of the better reviews I've seen for that movie.

Did a bit of flying and caught up with some movies.

Black Panther - I enjoyed it but glad I was pre-aware that it had been massively overhyped. 3.5 ethno-states out of 5.

3 Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri - Gripping but it seemed a little far fetched which kind of tempered my enjoyment for some reason..you know for a movie that was kinda realistic rather than a straight up fantasy. 3.5 midget dates outta 5.

Avengers (new one..) - Waaaay better than the last Avengers, time seemed to fly by. 4 outta 5 infinity stones.

I also re-watched 'Fight Club' which I hadn't seen in a number of years. I was a little nervous about doing it as a number of older movies haven't lived up to my memories of late. Well I needn't have been. Solid 5 punches in the ear outta 5. Easily my favourite movie of all time.

I reckon Fight Club is one of THE most overrated movies of our times. It's ok but no more than that.

@mariner4life @Bones anyone of you want first crack at this?
I’m not sure where to begin..

Leave @MN5 alone Virgil! We know he is a bit too dim to 'get it'

    I'm watching Atomic Blonde

    It's not bad.

And then Charlize lezzed out with the sexy French chick and it's now fucking awesome.

@bovidae I’m a fan of the MI movies. Only one I can’t stand is the second one that is shot in OZ. Shocking acting by the bad guys.

The latest flick has a decent plot and the connection with the previous movie was a nice touch.
