Yes they should have kicked that long and been well down in Aussie territory. If they wanted to attack they should have kept ball in hand . Was a really dumb play to try the cross filed chip.

Bokke backline handling is pretty crap as well - forwards look OK when they cut down on the silly errors

He was correct on the first point (worst kept secret in SA sport); and almost nailed his 2nd prediction. That’s when he started pumping Rassie’s Boks as being ready to pump ABs 2-0 in RC. He could yet be right, but right now the training wheels are coming off and he’s looking silly. That said, I do like his enthusiasm, and he generally gives ABs huge respect.
