I will be a believer in S Barrett if he can stand up to the SA locks.

Yeah this test could be a real turning point for Scott Barrett. He was a standout for the Crusaders this season and hasn’t really put a foot wrong as an impact player. But starting a big(gish) test against some big units is quite different.

Franks, Whitelock, Read, Smithx2 (462) have more caps than the entire SA starting 15(426).
NZ forward pack (454), SA (191)
NZ has 7x 50+ tests. SA have 1
NZ has 3x 100+ tests, SA have 0

Those stats actually have some meaning. You need plenty of experience to win at the top level consistnetly. Far better than 'we won the possession battle'
