I didn't see the full game last weekend, but what I saw I thought Samu was good. The Hooper contract seems crazier by the moment. Tho it would probably be Pocock who drops out as long as Cheika is coach.

I'm actually looking forward to this game. I really enjoyed watching Argentina last week and love the speed and skill of their backs. Australia fielding a pretty experienced side which must be close to their best?

Michael Hooper out of tomorrow’s match vs Pumas with hammy injury. Pete Samu goes to No.8 and Pocock to captain and play No.7. Hanigan onto the bench.

Better balanced loose forward trio IMO, be interesting to see how they go.

Got to be better than last week's AUS SA game. Was turgid -- gave up after 15 minutes

Two weeks in a row Cheika has been forced to play only one no.7 but you know he wants both Hooper and Pocock in the team. It seems common sense doesn't matter to him.

Let's hope that Arg don't bottle it as they never seem to play as well against Aust as they do against NZ.

@bovidae with Folou to the wing and only one of Pocock or Hooper playing (and in the right place at 7) they look much better balanced.

Yeah be good for the Argies to start fulfilling the promise they show for long periods against us, against other 'top' teams too.

Back row, 10/12 and back 3 look about the best balanced I’ve seen from Cheika.

Add to that the United Pacific Nations of Australia starting and bench front rows, two big locks - and this looks a decent side.

Would be surprised If The Aussies won't win this, best starting XV in a long time.

@sapetyvi and the Argies seem to go big against the Boks and ABs the first three rounds, then fall on a heap against us.

The scheduling needs a shake up

Pity about Hooper. I prefer him to Pocock. Better all round.

Still better balanced in backrow as mentioned.

Yep. They've usually well and truly blown their load by this stage. Aus comfortably.

To me Pocock is better in tight and in turnovers, and gets himself involved more, but is slower than me and I'm in my 50s! Hooper on the other hand is fast, and can hurt you from broken play. As always, all about getting the balance right.

I reckon the Argies have the firepower out wide to take this and as long as the forwards don't crumble have a great chance against what is hardly a Wallaby backline for the ages.

Isnt it a bit stupid for the ARU to have 2 games in southeast QLD in successive weeks?
