@virgil cant recall where I saw it, but werent they going to have Catwoman as Lesbian?

Obviously the tight black leather and Lesbian scenes wont be an issue, but the simple fact that they are changing the character who is in love with Batman/Bruce Wayne and I think in one of the DC Universes has a kid with him as well is just weak.

She just married Bruce Wayne in the comics, so not sure that is right. They have Batwoman as a lesbian to cover that market anyway.

Think DC have finally lost the plot here, having already lost Afleck and now Cavill.

That's the problem with DC - they can't tell a story so even quality actors appear wooden with the material they're given.

Just like Star Wars. Some would say....

This comment triggers me like you wouldn't believe.

You wouldn't believe how offended I am.

Yeah Damian Wayne, Talia al Ghul’s son. If I remember right, they stole Batman’s spunk or drugged him and got her up the duff.

Trained him as a ninja. I think they may have killed him recently, although I’ve seen stories where he becomes the Batman too.

Fun character because he’s a complete arsehole, and Batman is always having to stop him killing the criminals

In an effort to try and actually do things together in spite of a newborn in the family we've watched a couple of movies lately:

    Deadpool 2

Fucking awesome, heaps of funny moments and some nice mocking of the PC culture. Julian Dennison was good too, the kid has some talent. 4.5 X-people out of 5 robust teenagers from NZ.

    Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Fucking fantastic film, and not what I expected. Some great humour mixed in with some dust in your eye moments. Woody Harrelson was excellent and Frances McDormand was absolutely superb. 4.5 racist cops out of 5 unsolved murders.

Laughed out loud a number of times watching this film. Thought it was a good continuation of the original, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Solid 4.5 XFORCE out of 5 XMEN

What was the verdict on here around Justice League?

I love it. Just watched it again last night and it made me realise why I love these DC and Marval movies and am no longer fussed on the rubbish star wars is producing (in my mind) is that it's unrealistic but relatable.

I like what's his face as Batman too.

Can agree with all of that. While I don't think the DC movies are up to the Marvel standard (for whatever reason) they're still quite entertaining.

I thought Justice League was great

We won't talk about Henry Cavill's moustache.

DC is a mess but I agree, you can just enjoy the movies for what they are - entertainment.

How come DC is a mess?

Look how marvel have set up their universe. They started with 4 or 5 individual super hero movies first then lead into Avengers 1
They actually have all the movies mapped out into phases, Avengers 1 was the end of phase 1 etc
They build up hype and the cool factor of seeing the likes of iron man sharing the screen with the hulk and most recently the guardians of the galaxy.
Not to mention they have a lighter more humouris tone.
DC have pretty much done the opposite.
Much darker, variety of directors who seem to be doing their own thing.
There was no build up with individual hero’s doing their own thing. Straight up we see Batman vs Superman with Wonder Woman thrown in.
Could go on and on tbh

Poor scripts and a clear lack of direction have meant DC movies have struggled at the box office compared to Marvel movies.

Cavill and Affleck have departed from future movies. There is going to be a reset in the DC universe.

Is Cavill Superman? Oh that sucks.

I see what you mean there but as individual movies, I tend to like them.
