I like Wellington, but I've never experienced stronger wind anywhere in the world. And that's not just at the Beehive!

Nigel Yalden said today that he believes that TJ Faiane is with the Blues for next year.

That's three 12s, so Leger may be the odd man out. Still interested if Tele'a is on a full contract.

@tim This article on the Blues website suggests Tele'a is on a full contract.
It says nothing about development contracts. -
The Blues continues to invest in youth for 2019 and beyond after announcing that three members of the New Zealand Under-20s rugby team will play for the club in Super Rugby next year.
Harry Plummer, Tanielu Tele’a and Hoskins Sotutu, among the seven players from the Blues region in the New Zealand Under-20 side, have been signed for two-year contracts with the Blues.

Leger was only a fill in contract wasn't he?
Not doing his chances much good in the NPC this year anyway.

@crucial Wouldn't suprise me if he ended up at the Chiefs next year to take Fa'auli's spot despite his indifferent Mitre 10 Cup form and they tend to get the best out of rejects from other sides these days.

So who is going to play 13? Tele'a? They want an experienced midfield so they get 3 experienced 12s and a rookie 13. Lol Blues.

Ozzie need to look at this sort of thing, need a board with some ideas? Let's have an ex-National coach, an ex-MP, and a successful businessman

I'd love for the Blues to be hated by other franchise fans instead of hated by their own fans. Dreams are free....

Me too πŸ™‚ it's too hard to hate them when they suck so bad.

they should bring back Gary Whetton, Bernie McCahill and Grant Fox as advisors

A hard pass to both of those options. It should be Tumua Manu - but I can't see that happening now. Heck I'd take Ranger over those two ^

Be nice if Tana had signed him instead of his mate Nonu.
