    @mokey yeah @Kruse said they are filming near where he lives.

    @kruse said in TV Serieseseses:

    Oh - by the way - all the fans of "Killing Eve" - you'll be pleased to hear it's been renewed...
    I just received a letter notifying me they're filming some scenes nearby.

    If all goes to plan, I'll be confirming to all in a couple of months that Villanelle is newly lesbian.

    @taniwharugby LOL. I missed that post. There, there, Jodie, if @Kruse scares you, I'll give you a snuggle and make it all better.

    If your into watching a series where you like to yell at the screen and say things like ‘what the fuck is wrong with you’ or ‘there’s fucking nothing wrong with you you stupid fluffybunny’ then I recommend Aflicted on Netflix

    Follows a bunch of people ( mostly women of course) who are ‘suffereing’ with undiagnosed illnesses that modern medicine can’t help with.
    Allergies to modern chemicals and or mound. All are a drain to society and their families as they annoyingly go on and on that they are really sick but no one understands or believes them.
    But in reality it’s more likely they are just mentally ill or have had some kind of breakdown and this is how it manifests.

    4 there’s fucking nothing wrong with you out of 5 suffering partners getting financially ruined by this bull shit

    So I'm currently watching The Expanse, was late to it and only watched it because some on here talked about - it's decent, not great but I'm enjoying it. But, also some spoilers here so don't read on if you're not finished the 3 seasons.

    S3 E4 was a genuine comedy episode (the one where they pick up the Mars survivors), the UN woman (the Iranian one) and the Kiwi chick were bloody funny with their sarcastic put downs of basically everyone else. Did anyone else remember cracking up at that episode.

    @virgil I must be mentally ill - I can't handle lots of modern chemicals. This sounds like my kind of show.

    Do you know those clothes dryer sheets? I can't be in a house where the dryer is going with those sheets. There's particular brands of cleaning products I can't handle at all either.

    Sweet, now, if I ever do have a breakdown I know what to blame.

    Think most people will react to a certain product but the extreme levels of those in the show is a completely different level. It digs reasonably deep enough for you to get the idea there’s bigger problems mentally with them all

    I'll add it to my Netflix list!

    Finished S1 of Fauda, that follows an Israeli Special Forces operative in Palestine as they hunt a terrorist.

    Is decent enough, obviously mostly sub-titled.

    First: Last night was watching Get Up! on ESPN. How fucking hot is Maria Taylor? and she is 6'2! smoking

    Second: Watched an episode of Mayans MC last night, the Sons of Anarchy spin off. Actually wasn't too bad, and will now have watch the first 2 Episodes to catch up.

    @rocky-rockbottom

    :::

    Yes. Marty spent at lot of S2 trying to save people (Rachel, Ruth, Mason) and Wendy has gone full-Darlene in self-protection mode. The lawyer knew what their escape plans were and Wendy responded. The expression on Marty's face at the casino opening was priceless once he was told they weren't going anywhere.

    I knew Darlene had poisoned Jacob as soon as she gave him the cup of coffee. The look they exchanged in the kitchen setup what was to follow.

    I had a look at The First - which is set a bit in the future and the race to be the first people on Mars. Wasnt what I was expecting...I was expecting a more Sci-Fi type thing (shoulda read the synopsis better)

    1st ep, even with an exploding rocket after launch was a bit average, dont think I'll continue unless anyone else has watched and thinks it is worth persevering with.

    Has Sean Penn in it, pretty ripped for a near 60 yr old!

    Enjoyed Darlene’s character arc and the bit of backstory they gave her .

    @rocky-rockbottom You've given that a lot of thought. 🤣

    :::

    The additional twist would be that Wendy tells Zeke that your Mama killed your real Mama.

    Watched 'Barry' on the plane. Hitman (Bill Hader) decides he's sick of the life and pursues acting.

    Weird one, kinda felt like I should think it's shit but I couldn't pull myself away and had some neat acting from a few familiar faces (Justified, Billions, Orange ITNB/how to get away with murder.

    Good for a plane binge, 8 episodes and probably only one series, seemed almost like a really long movie.

    @mikethesnow I really liked it too, but wouldn't hold out much hope for a season two where every episode is "starting...from...now!". Unless they're going to knock it out the park with cameos.

    Finished The Sinner.

    Bit of a let down episode IMO after 7 good ones.

    Sure it tidied things up, but just seemed really flat, knew there was more to the pregnancy than we had been told and not surprising in the end.

    Not normally a big fan of Pullman, but I think he does well in The Sinner, but the real star of this season is Julian.

    @taniwharugby Is this S2? I've been pondering watching, but I was really pissed that S1 was great all the way through and then had such a lame resolution truth to all these creepy good plot points.

    Kidding.

    new thing with Jim Carrey. approached with much trepidation, if he's gonna do his manic bullshit comedy I'm out but luckily he doesnt and this is soooo goood. I hardly even think he's acting he seems so fucked in the head these days. Plus the kids in this are total misanthropic nutjobs which is an unexpected bonus

    Watched two episodes. Very good.
