    Stuff

    Stuff

"If it's raining, it's simply too muddy to walk and I have to catch an Uber from the bus station which costs me a minimum of $6.85, on top of my bus fare."

This one is a real tear jerker. Even sadder than the little girl who got burnt by a pie

@jegga so naturally looked at keylani lei wiki, followed into Kelleher and saw this ...
“He was a very aggressive player, who specialized in the pick-and-go and sexual assault techniques.”

    Wtf?

I could be wrong but this is the first time I’ve seen our media bother to mention the fact not all the families want the bodies recovered.
My brother was working on another mine down there and said most of the other miners were behind the idea of leaving the dead with their mates and turning the mountain into a memorial for them .
Out media only seem interested in talking to the same families over and over.

Almost as if the families campaign is politically motivated? I hope no one dies in this pointless and expensive exercise.

Labour and Winston , remember he said he’d lead the recovery effort.

Campbell was up to his nose in presenting his “ truth “ too when he had a show .

Fake news. The media will spin and distort news to tell the story they want, there was a noticeable turn against National in the year running up to the election. Stuff like Pike River, and the clean waterways thing just to name two things that tried to paint the incumbent government in a negative light. The scumbags didn't even wait 3 months after the Nats got bounced before releasing positive stories about their clean waterway positive progress

@canefan the water issue was interesting, the press were happy to fudge water usage and water quality during the campaign and try and present them as basically the same issue.

Sure Bill has the charisma of a wet mop, but the media gave the Nats no love, they were too busy drinking the starbrite kool aid to care
