I was more into Pearl Jam, but that faded over time ... maybe as I lost more hair? They still have some good stuff though and I can listen to particular tracks and still have it rock me like when I first heard it.
Speaking of Nirvana, I thought Lorde did a reasonable job filling in for Kurt here:

I just got back from Bluesfest in Byron Bay so thought I'd post a few of the acts I saw that I really enjoyed - although in most cases I expect a Youtube vid wont do the live shows justice.

It was a great weekend, lots of good acts, only one or two shitty ones that we stumbled upon, the food was good, the traffic was fine (no long waits getting out), and the weather was awesome ... when it usually rains the entire festival. It was an interesting crowd as per usual, lots of old people, lots of families with parents and teens/just out of teens children all hanging out together, lots of little kids and their ultra trendy parents ... every second person was wearing a fedora. Jegga would have been constantly spitting at all the 'greenies' wandering by. The music might not be up to the tastes of all you bogans that seem to frequent this thread ;).

Anyway, the main act I wanted to see was Dave Mathews Band and they played two nights. On their second night we managed to be in the front row which was awesome. So here's DMB with Grey St to kick it off:

At one stage we were sitting in the main tent watching a mellow artist play an ok set when I could hear the percussion thumping from one of the other tents. So I decided to go and check the other tent out and came across Nahko and Medicine for the People - who I had never heard of, and they were one of the top three acts I saw all weekend. This is "Black as NIght".

The other performance in my top 3 was Michael Franti and Spearhead. Franti has definitely changed from his Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy days, hell even since I last saw them about 7 years ago. They ended their set with singing over a bunch of dance tracks on an Apple computer which was kind of funny. I can't find a decent live clip so this one will do.
