Watching on Prime a South African series called "Cape Town".

Up to ep. 4 of 6 and it doesn't look like there are any further seasons.

A cop who's cop wife was brutally killed and he's suspected. He is partnered against his wishes with a flashy young cop from the elite squad. They are chasing down the murders of some eastern european girls.

Over all pretty good so far with the odd set of boobs every now and then.

Anyone else watching Mayans MC, the Sons of Anarchy "spin off"? I sort of missed it started, so watched the first 3 episodes last night.

It's not bad. A little less light-hearted than Sons started off, but still very much the same formula. Perhaps one too many story levels at the start, they could have delayed one of them a bit.

Less eye candy than Sons started with though, sorry jegga

@mariner4life funnily enough I just watched the first 2 episodes last night. Seems very similar but hasn't quite gripped me, bit of a slow burner so far it seems.

Yeah, watched first 3 episodes or so.
Felt like they were trying a little too hard for “let's be like Sons” plus “let's have a point of difference from Sons”
...and, perhaps giving away a little bit too much reveal early on.

Been smashing Would I Lie to You. Absolutely brilliant. British comedians at their best. Actually the German Henning Wehn is probably the funniest. Hysterical shit.

Just finished watching 'The People vs OJ Simpson' on Netflix.
Absolutely outstanding, my memory of the case was kind of vague so when each twist and turn occurred my initial reaction was 'oh great they Hollywoodised it...' but then I'd google it and see it actually happened. One hell of a story and now has me watching parts of the original trial on youtube. Oh yeah and David Schwimmer I thought was outstanding, always had him pegged as forever Ross Geller but this was really something.

Narcos season 4 is out next month, and just in time too. Without any Cartel dramas, I'd almost stopped rolling my r's when I say names like Rodriguez.

Finished the second series of Making a Murderer lastnight
I was convinced after the first series that Steven Avery and his dimwited nephew were set up. After this latest instalments im even more convinced.
No doubt the Avery’s and Dasseys are feral ( the mom dassey is completely feral) but based on the details showing in the final few episodes it’s looking like other family members are responsible
They were stitched up by the cops and prosecutors not too mention his own defence team clearly could have done more

Just highlights how fucked you would be if your ever tied up in the US legal system

I enjoyed it more than the first season. The new lawyer is a frightening woman 🙂

Unbelievable that the Brendan Dassey confession still stands. The US court system is fucked.

Yup it appears they don’t want to let them out, despite a handful of judges stating the confession was involuntary.
Enjoyed when mom dassey and the stepdad showed their true colours and ranted at Avery on the phone.
That bobby dassey has some fucked up tastes in porn too..

Watched a couple of episodes of The Romanoffs, is pretty decent.

Basically different story each ep following different people who are apparently descendants of the Romanoffs.

couple females in ep 2 were very tidy, particularly

edit: not sold on the episodes after ep 2...

Just finished it too. Really enjoyed it..now I need to do some research on the other side of the story as the first season left out a lot of stuff that put Steven in a bad light.

Funnily enough I've walked away with a greater respect for the US court system. The amount of options for appeal are quite vast and it's set up to be as fair as possible, it doesn't mean every decision is going to be 100% correct but it does give some protections against a public storm created by a potentially slanted doco. What I do think is messed up however is the poor process by investigators especially considering the conflict of interest of Avery's civil claim.

Personally I gave up watching as it was demoralizing to go so deeply into the sheer dumbness of some people
Despite my apparent ‘leftyness” where I should be standing up for the ‘disadvantaged’ I found myself despairing for humanity that as a species we haven’t managed to evolve such feralness out of society
