Cheers mate - may try! May!

Quick update - sore calves lasted until sunday night. Calves often are longest to recover I find.

    Monday - Pull
Tuesday - am was cardio and abs. PM will be Push.

Legs today and back to basics

A good 25min ride to warm up then usual mobility stuff.

Change up was to start with the hammies first today and get pumped up before squats. Made the squats feel a tad different in that felt much more solid down in the bottom of the squat. Will def do again.

Squats weren't heavy today but 4 working sets of 8 reps at 120kg. Felt pretty good but last few reps bit of a grind in the latter sets.

Leg press - 3 sets of 25 reps to finish off the quads

Straight leg deads - 3 sets of 20 for the stretch.

Calves - 4 sets seated raises, 4 sets using leg press

Finished with 3 x 1 min worth of bench jump overs (did heaps of these at f45 so thought to add them in) and some abs work.

Major legs DOMS last few days. Been really feeling it.

Yesterday did 30mins cardio and some abs work which was a circuit of 6 exercises then 1 min skipping break before repeating 5 times through

This morning the usual shoulders (giant set of 5 exercisies, 5 times through) and arms for a friday.

There are two immutable laws of the gym. Monday is chest day, and Friday is arm day!! 💪 💪 💪

Pretty good last few days both training and eating wise. Bloat is slowly going down after the weekend booze up.

Gonna drop the oats next week and see how the body responds. Means back to eggs for brekky which doesnt dissappoint me.

Week done and good one both training and eats wise. Feels like have tightened up considerably after dropping the oats. Probably actually pretty close to keto for the week. Only carbs have been fast carbs (ANS Carb HP) I use at training with my BCAAs. Otherwise heaps of protein and salad and veges. Got the wife on the shred train too which means shes serving up salmon fillets etc and lots of good stuff in the fridge to help us get there.

Training been the usual for the week plus abs everyday and a bit of cardio mixed in as well

@jk that is cool that your wahine is following a similar eating approach. Solidarity ha ha

Interesting to hear your thoughts re the oats. Is that from a bloating perspective? or just tidier eating overall?

Yeah think jsut from bloating eh.

Althught turned down plenty of treats this week. Always sausage rolls, cakes etc floating about there. Yesterday had both on offer then krispy kreme had a giveaway outside the office. Managed to dodge it all

Good weeks eating and training other than knee giving me issues.

I really should go see someone again but just doing what I did last time, which took time but fixed it (for a few years at least). Lots of riding and hot bean bag thing on it in evenings. No squats.

Feeling pretty lean. Bit of a refeed day today with a whole lot more carbs.

Wife away for weekend for queenstown half marathon so expecting plenty of beer carbs to be consumed next few days
