Mann's casting is usually very good but Farrell and Foxx weren't exactly De Niro and Pacino.

Like alot of 80s shows Miami Vice hasn't aged well. The A team, Magnum PI and Knight Rider are exactly the same. In fact just about all of them are except one....

Mile 22 - Mark Wahlberg, Lauren Cohen, John Malkovich, Rhonda Rousey, Iko Uwais (of The Raid movies)
Expected this to be good, was ok, seemed a bit messy overall, but watchable.
Wahlberg is a intelligence operative, Cohen is on his team and they must escort Uwais to the US to get him to handover some high;y sensitive information.

I expected it to be good cos of the cast, I rarely read reviews, unless its a movie with nobody famous in it, but it sounds good, then I'll see what people say...then probably still watch it even if it gets slated.
To me it moved at a good pace, but just seemed a bit all over.

Looks good but like a lot of reboot/remake type things also has the massive potential to be utterly shit, I only saw the first two, the trailer indicates hes been locked up for 40 years ? something isn't quite right there.....
Also is old mate Michael Myers like Jason from Friday the 13th ie unkillable by normal means ? hes been shot, blown up, burnt etc and just seems to brush it off like nothing.

Apparently it ignores all the films that have happened since the first one and this is a sequel to the first film. The new terminator film is supposed to be along the same lines , picking up after terminator 2 .

Bohemian rhapsody, really enjoyed it . The timeline is probably a bit fucked up to squeeze everything in but not in an Oliver Stone “ this bears no resemblance to reality” way . The actor playing Mercury is superb , the guy he co starred in the pacific with is in it too and was quite irritating with his mugging at the camera. Nice to see Mike Myers get a Wayne’s World reference in there too.

Everyone I know that has seen this has really enjoyed it, flaws and all and they haven't necessarily been big Queen fans.
The reviews seem to be way too precious.
