Those films are both excellent.

I got around to watching Her, was an interesting concept, and sadly, certainly something I could see happening (except the OS probably wouldn't be as good)

Given Scarlet Johansen was Samantha, I woulda thought having her play the part of Isabella woulda been better...Joaquim Phoenix reminds me of a young Kevin Kline in this (specifically A Fish Called Wanda)

Enemy - Jake Gyllenhaal

A bored professor happens upon what appears his doppleganger acting in a movie, so he seeks him out and turns out he is lot of what he isnt. Pretty much sums it up TBH...ws almost like half a story, leaves it open for you to decide a lot, in fact too much.

Then there is the ending...not sure what that was all about.

Has 6.9/10 on IMDB, however I think I'd be being generous if I gave it 5/10..story promised a lot, but movie, well, just never really did much

I just watched Her tonight. It was ok. Although, when I couldn't believe it when I paused it to find there was still a whole bloody hour to go.

Something more my speed, I watched the new Robocop movie too. I liked it. Doesn;t have the same satire or tone as the original, but a good scifi action movie on its own merits.

I watched this last night (as it was only a shortish movie) completely forgetting why I had it and was thinking who's the hot chick with black hair and where have I seen her before, then I clicked about 30 minutes in who it was and why I had the movie.

I thought it was quite good as a caper movie - especially as I had no idea what I was watching at the start.

Korengal - follow on from Restrepo, if you liked Restrepo, should like this one.

Grand Budapest Hotel - IMpressive looking cast for this movie, was a little bit quirky and hammy, still undecided if I liked it or not...I think I did...

Where did you see that TR? Big fan of Sebastian Jungers work, the book that accompanies the movie is excellent. Sadly Tim Hetherington the cameraman was killed during the uprising in Libya.

I love that film, the blond in it is smoking hot and the milfy Sarah Palinesque chick is a kiwi.

I watched "Pain and Gain" last night with Mark Wahlberg and the Rock. I'm not sure if i liked it, or it is the stupidest thing i have ever seen. There is a very good chance it could be both.

if it werent based on a true story (however loose) it would be a stupid movie as no one could be that stupid, but the fact there were people that stupid made it funny....

I really liked that movie, it's a black comedy, and bloody funny. I saw stupid reviews about it where the critic would say it would be a 4 star movie if they iddn't know Michael Bay directed it but because he did it's only 3. Dickheads.

This summer's big box-office bust is Tom Cruise's "Edge of Tomorrow." It's definitely Groundhog Day, and I loved it.

Saw it on a big screen when it opened. The premise is awesome, but the movie could have been so much better.

It doesn't appear to be doing too badly ($340m) at least in the worldwide box office ... not so well in the US though.

There was another story in the paper this week saying Americans aren't going to the pictures in the numbers that they used to and box office receipts are trending down. Edge of tomorrow is a great sic fi film, also Emily Blunt looks very hot in it.

Took the kids to see How to train your Dragon 2 yesterday, again, top film, obviously with the characters all a little more grown up, a few darker and more grown up themes too.

Dawn of the planet of the apes, great special effects ,fantastic set designs and apart from Gary Oldman who phoned it in some decent actors Anthony Serkis deservedly got top billing the aussie guy who played the Kevin Coster dances with volves role was good too. Keri Russell is aging nicely I thought.
