<p>Finally got to watch True Detective (watched the first 2, then Mrs Mariner said she wanted in, and so i had to wait for her, fucking wimmen...)</p>

<p>Bleak that shit! loved the setting, added so much to the story. Have to say, i really enjoyed it, the writing was excellent, and it was great to have cop partners who don't feel the need to like each other.</p>

<p>[spoiler]Ok, so the ending. Yea, they got one fucked up murdering hillbilly. But it really fit with the rest of the show that the ending didn't wrap everything up, and there were still real bad guys out there. Do you think it was done purely so they could do a 2nd series? or did they just actually write a good ending?</p>
