At 7-4 the Spurs are doing alright

West not shaping like anyone expected.

    But still ages to go

Grizzlies probably the biggest surprise so far.

@canefan Saric is a big loss for Philly. Stretches the floor, works hard and does the grunt work whilst still getting his. He doesn’t have ego which is good for Embied.

Saric has been rubbish so far this year though. I reckon it's a good trade, but agree the big question is how Butler goes in the locker room.

Also looks like Melo could be getting the boot from the Rockets, which would just be brilliant. What a slide out of the league.

I think the 76ers more generally have been poor not just Saric. Trying to get Fultz going has stuffed their game up because defences can easily collapse on them without JJ in the lineup. You’re starting point guard and shooting guard can’t hit a shot outside 12 feet. Not good.

Carmelo's status in flux; GM calls reports 'unfair'

Carmelo's status in flux; GM calls reports 'unfair'

Despite Rockets GM Daryl Morey declaring Carmelo Anthony is the target of "unfair speculation," the franchise is strongly considering cutting ties with the 10-time All-Star, league sources say.

Melo should go to China. At least he can be the main man on a team there

Carmelo Anthony's brief stop with the Houston Rockets is over. Sources told ESPN the Rockets have no plans to waive him and will continue to allow his representatives to look for a landing spot.

The entire league watched KD and Draymond blow up at each other and crossed their fingers. It's the only way they are going to get beaten.

Scotty Pippen on The Jump this morning was interesting. Speaking about how he and MJ straight up didn't like Rodman, but they respected what he did on the court, so it still worked. He also said what everyone is thinking, the Warriors are bored and waiting for playoffs.

Jimmy Butler at the end of overtime gets a block/turnover on defense and then nails a 3 pointer to win the game for the 76ers at the offensive end. Statement made.

They are one gun shooter from being a complete team. Their 3 best players are all good defenders, which will win them a heap of games in the play offs

Spurs snap a losing streak by tipping over the Warriors!!

Broncos and Spurs winning on the same day will be rare this season

Everybody is beating the Warriors at the moment, they've lost 4 of their last 5 games.

Curry is the spiritual leader of that team. You also have to remember that KD couldn't win a ship with Westbrook, Ibaka and Harden...

Meanwhile that same team is chugging alone quite nicely with 10 wins out of the last 11 without any of those players above.

Crazy season, current tables don't look anything like pre-season predictions, and at the moment it looks like everyone can be beaten on any given day.

Russell Westbrook is back for 5 minutes and has destroyed the team chemistry built while he was injured.

Hell of an athlete. Fuck-stick of a basketball player.

@rocky-rockbottom He could be an amazing 2 guard. But his ego won't allow him to give up bringing up the ball.

George and Schroeder really stepped up during Westbrook’s absence.

Their record is retry good though.

Big win for Wizards after all the talk of disharmony, trades and player egos. Clippers without Paul, Blake and Austin Rivers, is one of my favourite teams.

OKC wins big in Oakland. Looking at the box score I assume Russ and Schroeder played together a lot.

They did. Schroeder was excellent. Shocking injury during the game to Diallo. Broken leg.

I watched a replay of this game last night.

Diallo's injury looked really bad but the initial reports are encouraging. OKC medicos have ruled out a severe lower body injury and officially he has a left ankle sprain.

OKC dropped the ball against the Nuggets. Adams was woeful in the first half offensively. All shots he usually makes.

Russ was good until the end when he started throwing up brick, after brick from 3. He is not that guy. He is not a 3 point shooter. He just occasionally hits 1 or 2 and ones of those is something in the clutch. So he thinks hes the guy. But hes not, so absolutely not.

PG has ggone back into his role player mode and we need him in all star mode.
