<p>I'm back watching The Walking Dead 2 and Orange is the New Black 2. I'm about six episodes in on both.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Orange: Wow, they need to just rename the show the L Word: The Prison Years. Is it just me or have they upped the nudity and lesbian sex scenes quotient? I'm about half way through, things are all going well. The first episode was interesting, it was an extremely condensed version of what was in the book, which was good as I thought it was going to follow the book and I've read it recently so new different stories are better.</p>

<p>The Walking Dead 2: Thank god for Lauren Cohen! I'm a bit worried about myself and maybe I'm a misogynist and don't really know it but I can't stand the other women on The Walking Dead, there was one scene where all 3 of them were together, Blondie, Wifey, and Sophia's Mom, and man I wanted the Redneck to put an arrow through my head. In fact, for a show I like there are very few characters I actually like, I like the Redneck and the Asian and don't mind the Old Fulla, but the Sheriff and Shane are both moody dropkicks and the love triangle (or not) is boring as shit. But I'm still enjoying the show and looking forward to the next episode so go figure.</p> -

<p>Sophias mum turns out to be one of the more interesting characters, watching her change over the different series is great. Its similar to the way the sheriff and Darrell change over the series.</p>

<p>Am about 8 into Falling Skies, I usually really enjoy this series but by fuck there are a few annoying mo-fo characters this season (one has always been there and finally got killed) is so so this season...</p>

<p>Also about 8 eps into Firefly, enjoying it, good bit of cheese! </p>

<p>I watch parliament TV if Lauren Cohen was in it! </p> -

<p>They are filming an english language series in the chateau next to my apartment, at the moment. Its called Versailles and comes out in 2015 apparently. Can't find whos in it. But I heard one of the production assistants telling some kids at the gates there were big stars just not French ones. They were not impressed.</p>

<p>Also I don't live next to the Chateau of Versailles. I suspect they are using this smaller place as its somewhat easier to book and less crowded in the summer.</p> -

<p>I watched the first episode of "Black Sails" last night. It's pretty shit, and i would give it a miss. It looks pretty good, but the story and the writing is just average, and after 1 episode, there isn't a memorable character in the bunch. The dude who played Michael Hutchence is supposed to be Long John Silver for fucks sake. Captain Flint isn't even a tough fluffybunny. </p>

<p>Of course there was the obligatory nudity. Plenty of titties (none of them memorable), Silver gets it on with 4 whores (but it's looks shit, and PG13-ish), some lesbo pashing and implied finger-banging (but the pretty blonde with the potty mouth doesn't even get the girls out). </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Basically, it's not worth the hour of your time, will not be watching next week. </p> -

<p>So I've just finished S2 and man this show does my head in ... aside from the fact I really like it and will be starting S3 tomorrow. Some spoilers to follow but it seems as though I'm the only one who hasn't watched it so far.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>[spoiler]I think the writing is pretty poor on this show. The wifey car crash is a case in point, obviously the writers wanted to put her in peril so that Shane could rescue her and create more tension in the love triangle. But they could have given her another reason to be driving rather than going to get Rick to bring Herschel back, because that's what he was flippin doing anyway.</p>

<p>The absolute worst part of the show was when wifey and blondie were arguing, man that scene was tiring for me, I just wanted to bang both their heads together - repeatedly. I dislike blondie less than I dislike wifey at the moment.</p>

<p>T Dog, he's only there as a token black guy and to change personality every couple of episodes to create drama.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Carl, in the first season he wasn't annoying, now I just wish that the gunshot killed him. I hate his 'acting', all the pauses he does, it's like the director is directing him like he's in a mumble core film. I thought him wandering off into the bush to stumble upon the stuck walker was just stupid too, even Carl wouldn't have been that stupid.</p>

<p>I must say I was genuinely surprised by the resolution of the love triangle. I don't believe the writers did a good enough job of turning Shane into a villiian though, it's like he did a 360 in a couple of episodes.[/spoiler]</p>

<p>Oh well, as I said I'm looking forward to watching S3.</p> -
