Saw What We Do in the Shadows there this week, brilliant. Found it very funny and was quite cool having Jemaine and Taika introducing it and doing a q&a afterwards.

<p>Thriller about a hotshot ADA who in a moment of stupidity decides to drive home after a few beers, on his way home he hits someone, stops calls 911 and flees. However when he hears the police have arrested someone for the murder of the guy he hit....Not a bad story, the minor twist comes early and isnt that hard to see, good enough film though.</p>

<p>Frontera - Ed Harris is a retired Sheriff in a small US/Mexican border town, but his life is turned upside-down when it appears 2 Mexicans crossing via his farm have killed his wife.</p> -
<p>Finally saw Guardians of the Galaxy today - flippin awesome. I think it may be my favourite of the Marvel movies. </p>

<p>It's been a good year for the blockbuster movies I've wanted to see: Captain America - bloody good, Edge of Tomorrow - awesome and then this.</p> -

<p>There was a cheer at the end of the movie when I saw it ... which is pretty impressive for HB, we barely cheer when we win the Shield (I'm plugging that win like crazy across multiple threads).</p> -

Thanks for sharing. I caught the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds show in Calgary recently and it was something else. Can't wait to see this. -

<p>Bad Neighbours: I thought this was bloody funny. It seemed a bit like a skit show jumping from scene to scene while still being part of the same story. Rogen was funny, Rose Byrne was funny, Zac Efron was funny. I just thought it was a good laugh out loud comedy that was sometimes silly but not over the top so.</p>

<p>Yeah I enjoyed it too, just a bit of good fun, and as someone who lived next to some dickheads who liked to party, can certainly relate to some of the situations they found themselves in too (and can laugh about it now...)</p> -

<p>For all the remarkably chauvinistic side of me thinks it's awesome to get a bit of a geez at her with her kit off, the fluffybunnies who hack peoples private shit and release it on the internet are fucking scumbags who deserve hidings as well as jail time. These women should be able to take what ever naughty pictures/videos of themselves they want without fear of some creepy piston wristed gibbon getting hold of it and letting everyone get a look (and then creepy piston wristed gibbons like me actually having a look) </p> -

<p>Will be really interesting to see how the WWE fans react if he re-appears. He shot the movie, returned to WWE as a babyface and was supposed to ascend to the championship at Wrestlemania. But the fans turned on him, and they had to rewrite all their plans on the fly as he turned heel. I suppose it depends on the timing, but it sure will be interesting when he returns to WWE to see if he returns as a conquering hero babyface again, or returns as a badass heel movie star? Of course, if this Guardians flick is as successful as people are saying, he'll probably be tied up in sequels for years.</p>
