George and Schroeder really stepped up during Westbrook’s absence.

Their record is retry good though.

Big win for Wizards after all the talk of disharmony, trades and player egos. Clippers without Paul, Blake and Austin Rivers, is one of my favourite teams.

OKC wins big in Oakland. Looking at the box score I assume Russ and Schroeder played together a lot.

They did. Schroeder was excellent. Shocking injury during the game to Diallo. Broken leg.

I watched a replay of this game last night.

Diallo's injury looked really bad but the initial reports are encouraging. OKC medicos have ruled out a severe lower body injury and officially he has a left ankle sprain.

OKC dropped the ball against the Nuggets. Adams was woeful in the first half offensively. All shots he usually makes.

Russ was good until the end when he started throwing up brick, after brick from 3. He is not that guy. He is not a 3 point shooter. He just occasionally hits 1 or 2 and ones of those is something in the clutch. So he thinks hes the guy. But hes not, so absolutely not.

PG has ggone back into his role player mode and we need him in all star mode.

Kawhi carving up for the Raptors is just killing me.

Dropped 37 on the Warriors today, and not even 51 from Durant could stop GS going down again. Green and Curry out is just killing them.

@mariner4life he signed with New Balance! Jordan offered $5m per year/5 years total.

New Balance have only matched this apparently.....this guy chose to front the original sensible shoes company over Jordan & Nike for the same money!!!

How do you find 8 teams in all of that? You'd assume the Kings and Mavs may drop down (though they have both been pretty decent thus far), but even still it means that four teams miss out. Alarm bells for the Jazz and Spurs especially.

    Spurs beat the Blazers today

My NBA app send me notifications during every Spurs game, and i have lost count of how many games recently we have either led at 3/4 time, or been down by only a point, and then gone on to lose it at the death.

haha i thought of you last week when Pop was lamenting the modern game, where shooting threes is the only stat that matters. You two have a lot in common

@barbarian not only the standings but from day to day the results are surprising.

Take the Spurs who get their backsides handed to them at home but then beat a good Blazers side today.

My Clippers lost today but were right there in it despite getting dominated on the boards.

yea the form lines are fucked. Makes for a great season, especially if we get some teams that may have thought they could cruise the regular season setting themselves up for playoffs, who now actually have to dig in.

Holy shit, just reading about a guy who had a 9-leg in-game multi in the Spurs v Blazers game yesterday, with 8 guys having to get points levels, and one to also pull in rebounds.

$200 bet turned in to over $500,000.

With the caveat that the Warriors will still win.

But the first 95% of the season should be great. And if Durant leaves the Warriors (or Klay), then we could be on the brink of an all-time great season in 19/20. It's a big 'if' though.
