Merry Christmas gents (and I use that term super loosely, only some of you are all right, despite that post further up.)
It's been a fucker of a year, perhaps typified the other night by me running out of data right in the middle of watching porn. Fortunately the wonders of modern technology mean you can click a button and get back on the road. Whew.
To everyone working through - I raise a glass and feel your pain. Who was the dumbass who scheduled a book release for Jan 3? Oh yeah, me. To everyone else on holiday, whether in the cold or heat, hope you have a tolerable time with relatives, drink just enough to be merry not crook, and get some presents you actually want.
Stay safe, don't drink and drive, and if you get a Christmas shag, you clearly weren't THAT bad this year.

MBJ decides to go looking in the garage for her old stories she wrote/drew 10 or so years ago.
We found them!
End result: the most awesome dad-daughter time like ever.

Merry Christmas all, it's been a hell of an unusual year, even aside from the politics. Had a couple of significant cancer scares in the family but after treatment we have very fortunately been given the all-clear in the last few days, also somehow managed to land a new Mrs recently too so a very positive end and good start for next year.
Great chatting with you all on here and hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday period. World cup year next year. Let's hope the inevitable "# in a row" thread doesn't get terminated prematurely in 2019!
