For the pilots on the fern
Did that to a dog with and BN Islander wheel in middle of nowhere PNG. Aeroplane survived, dog not so much (I like dogs). Don't remember any death sounds but people who fly islanders are deaf, and the engines were running so anything other than an atomic bomb would have gone unnoticed.
Didn't even shut down the engines, turned around at top of strip and left before I got a spear pointed at me for compensation. Didn't go back there for quite some time either.
Almost did it to fuckwits walking across airstrip in Raglan last year too. Had to abort landing and frightened the shit out of them with a full power go around 10 feet above their heads. Quite enjoyed that bit.

for the golfers among us...
the carry distance is impressive.

@taniwharugby you wouldn't necessarily teach that swing huh? But a lot of power.
PS. Is it just me that is annoyed at the use of "double eagle" in place of "albatross"? Or that that just my Grumpy Old Man syndrome?

@taniwharugby I'm not going in to that lake to get my ball out.
Gator FFS.

@booboo Greg Norman reckoned he always taught kids to hit it as hard as they could, and iron out the kinks from there.
Meh, if I get a 2 on a par 5, I'll damn well call it what I like, maybe a Moa!! Alas, my 2nd on a par 5 settling 6 inches form the hole is as close as I have come.

Lucky to make it around a course with the snakes and spiders too. Throw in some cassowary and I wouldn't leave the house.
