As mentioned earlier Fergs slower ball is excellent

He was bowling seriuos heat earlier, too. High 140s.

That last one was pretty quick!

He cracked 150 in his first over. No substitute for pace.

Assume the ump was worried about it pitching outside leg. This is why DRS is so damn good, takes 99% of the controversy out of the game.

They only need 80 more runs. They are doing it easy.

We get Perera soon we’re still a chance, especially with Slinga coming in at 8...

90/10 in favour of SL right now though

    How quickly T20 can change.

Those same odds will be in favour of us now.

@Gunner Yep. Nothing like a few wickets and tidy overs to swing things right around.

Sri Lanka collapsing in a heap. I feel bad for them, they've always been one of my favourite teams - especially in the days of Sanga and Jaya. They will have to qualify for the next T20 WC, sad to see them fall away like that.

And just like that we win by 55 runs.

Bloody hell that was a major implosion by the Lankans.

    Bracewell or Kuggelijn for MOTM.

That was a game of 4 quarters wasn’t it.

SL well on top in the first and third, great comebacks by the BCs in the second and fourth to end up with an easy win.

Ferguson has definitely improved from when he first came on the scene.

Great work from the debutant, Bracewell and Sodhi too.

Credit to Taylor for playing on after the injury.

    Never in doubt............ 🙂

The joys of Sri Lankan batting - 5 out is usually all out.

This is why I can't bring myself to watch many T20s, let alone fork out money to go to one. Short of a miracle innings this game is effectively over and we are only into the fifth over.

    Say what?

@Mokey seems writing was the right career path for you, not accountancy 🙂

And this is why I really enjoy T20s, game can turn and you are never out of it.

    Firstly @Crazy-Horse

Tough to be judged in retrospect but you just gots to wait for the fat chick to sing.

Secondly, I gave up too. Twice.

First, when I first turned it on and we were 85 for 5.

Second when they were chasing at (about) 120 for 4 needing less than 8 rpo.

    Cricket is good huh?

    Even shits and giggles cricket.

    Random thunks:

    • Son of Sledge went well huh? Up to 140 clicks too. Good batting, coupla wickets, good fielding. Worth perservering with.
    • me likes Ish
    • Santner and Ish bowling together is a good combo in T20, despite @MN5 's expert opinion
    • Braces was good too
