Yeah, I assumed private schools would not ask for donations!
Capping donations is a really stupid idea, the problem isn't schools getting too much money, it's that some schools are really struggling to get by. We should be propping those schools up.
My son goes to a decile 10 primary school and it's kind of expected/known that the families will need to prop it up due to the lack of funding they get. They ask for nearly $500 per student and then do countless fundraisers etc throughout the year. They even send me invoices for the "donation".
The list they provide is also probably a bit misleading as it doesn't mention student count, the bigger schools will always get more money.

assume the spent all thier money on flights and just couldnt afford the red bulls and rope once they got here...not quite sure what the rope was for, maybe to tie up the feral Christmas tree stealing brat?
They have been a source of amusement that is for sure!
I know people go on holiday to let of steam and relax, but these fuckers have taken thing to feral level extreme haha.
I know when I was overseas plenty of Kiwis did dumb shit that made you embarrassed of them being Kiwis, but they were generally a bit more discreet...

The media probably sensationalized but it seems like they set a pretty high crime and nuisance strike rate while here. Dining and dashing a few times, theft, littering. A bit more than the average kiwi on contiki gets up to and more harmful

They've been served deportation notices but apparently they have something like 28 days to appeal if they want to. Seems pretty pointless when it comes to tourists.
