@jegga that's sexual harassment? Where was the sexual part... Or the harassment? Bit creepy though.

I had no idea compliments are a no go with clients/customers unless they express an interest in being complimented.

I was starting to worry the Herald wasn't reporting news anymore.

@Bones I expect it was the manner of giving the compliment...via text thst he had to get from customer records, rather than her giving it.

I'm not even certain he's a creep (not knowing the exact context or what may have transpired between them at 'Jiffy Lube' 😉 ).

Probably complains to all her friends about how there are no decent men 'out there' and how hard it is to meet someone yet when a guy makes an effort to test the waters with her she cries 'creep'.

FFS nearly all initial approaches are unsolicited. Gotta meet people somehow.

Bloke was very clumsy and went a bit far in trying to reclaim a lost face to face opportunity but she could have replied 'sorry, not interested and would rather that you didn't access my details for personal use. Next time ask if you can contact someone away from the client situation'.
No need to go all bitchy and out him.

Then again, he could be a creep.

Farming vegans would be the ultimate proof of their usefulness.

I had a vegan once try to tell me how terrible it was that farmers raped animals.
    Raped?
Apparently the farmers make them have sex (or inseminate them) without consent.
'Have you ever seen a bull ask for consent?' shut them up (for a minute)

Re oil change guy ... I suppose that means chicks can no longer wear Impulse just in case a stranger is inspired to suddenly give them flowers ...

Agreed. I was scrolling through the article to see if there was a picture of the chick when I saw it . Otherwise I would have as usual just read the headline and made a judgment based on that.

The worst thing about that article was the spelling.

"The group of tourists when then scene taking their belongings from the car before walking along the road."

Apparently they left "letter" at the beach.

And "claiemd" they were called scum.

(P.S. I know my spelling is dodgy, but I'm not paid for it, and I'm typing on a phone.)
