Yeah it all seems a bit drawn out the Jax-Marks thing, given Marks and the Sons seemed on good terms, Marks seemed happy to be top-dog with Pope out of the way...the line of Marks not letting them go after Lin is weak IMO, especially when you consider the carnage and collateral damage!

Yeah I guess on thinking the whole AB set-up was always on the cards, just when watching it, it all seemed too convenient for Jax given how things have been going for him.

Steven Ambroses son wrote a book to accompany the series, some of the men in it never made the series but it was a decent took. I want to watch the John Basilone episode again along with the Pelilieu one after reading the books.

They've been screening the sopranos right from the start and I thought it was a bit overrated when it was on the first time but I like it a lot more the second time around. Gandolfini and Edie Falco are outstanding actors and Meadow was hot as hell in the last few series.

Is it wrong to find the cartoon chicks in Batman- The Brave and the Bold hot?

Did anyone else think that the latest episode of Walking Dead (the one that concentrated on the relationship between Abraham and Eugene) was just a bit of filler until we find out about Beth?

Along with Eugene Sledge's book, they also used Robert Leckie's book "Helmet for my Pillow" as source material. Worth reading it as well before watching the Pacific, if you haven't already read it.
And so the seed is sown. If he talks to Unser, shit is going to fall in to place real fucking quick. If Gemma gets wind, people are going to get shot too.

There is still the whole "shooting the pres of another charter" thing to clear up as well, which may be the surprise ending? Also he never admitted to being the rat, so maybe there is one other thing to sort out internally?

TBH, this episode just seemed like Sutter was going out of his way to shock. Seriously, WTF was up with that opening? The Jax v Marks stuff has actually been quite good, but I agree they really didn't do enough to make Marks the big bad and even explain why they were at war anyway.

As for the kid, I find the actor so unnatural (I know he's a kid but there are some kids out there that can act better than that) that I sort of gloss over which should be the key scenes in the episode.

I also don't get the whole AB stuff. So these bikies rock up, shoot a couple of them, kill a couple of them, and they all do nothing (despite the fact they have a hispanic with them) because one guy who's not yet their leader says so. The too much stupid killing is starting to get to me I guess!
I'm currently watching the Bridge, I've just watched S1 and started S2, I think it's quite good, with some good performances, but I've just heard it's been cancelled which is disappointing.

On the look for some good sitcoms out of the new season ones if anyone knows any?

Have you watched the original Bridge? Bron/Broen, a Swedish and Danish co production. It is so much better than the US remake. The first season is somewhat similar, the second is completely different. The two protagonists in Bron (Saga Norén and Martin Rohde) are amazing.

Of the new sitcoms, most have already been shit canned. I thin 5 have been cancelled. The one that is getting the highest ratings is Black-ish. It is OKish IMO. Nothing too great, but not complete crap. The only other on I have seen is Marry Me, starring Ken Marino and Casey Wilson. The creator of the show is married to Casey Wilson, who he met on his other show Happy Endings. I watched cause Happy Endings was awesome. Only 3 episodes deep so far, and it is so-so so far.

No, not really. The premise is the couple have been engaged forever, and the guy finally proposes. It is all the hijinks between the proposal and the wedding. It is a little more traditional sitcom than HE was. The girl is basically Penny though, Casey Wilson just acts like herself I guess. But the rest of the supporting characters are not as good as the Happy Endings cast. I am still watching to see if it gets better, like Happy Endings did.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to suggest the original. 😉 I plan to watch it at some stage, when I can be bothered with the subtitles.

I'd like to watch Marry Me, for the Happy Endings style, but I really don't like Marino that much. He's ok as an annoying side character but as the lead I think he'll do my head in. Sucks that Happy Endings isn't on any more, stupid people with Nielsen boxes.

I might check out Blackish as it has Anderson and Fishburne.

Episode two of the The Game (BBC America) was much better. Apparently the show takes a couple of episodes to get going, so it might turn out to be pretty good.
After a season that has been dragging the chain on this major point, it sure moved quickly once the seed was sown. I was worried that Sutter would spend a couple of eps with Jax fighting the realisation of the truth.
I did see one interview with him where he explained that if you look at the timeline of the eps, all of this actually happens reasonably fast. It just seems like weeks because it's one ep per week.
Thank god Nero has avoided being caught in the fallout. I had thought that could be a plotline.
As Jax has already laid out his plans to deal with the situation (except what to do about Gemma), this is pointing to some kind of twist I think, otherwise it's just Jax winding up affairs and driving away with Wendy and the kids for a new life.
