Smits also did a Season in Dexter, in which he was also good!

Finished a series called Legends (Sean Bean, Ali Larter) who are part of the FBI DCO (Deep Cover Operations?)

Was ok, I have some issues with the Legends (character they go into when going undercover) but thought it was a good time filler, although some of the fight/battle scenes were a bit clumsy.
-

Nepia, have you watched the new USA comedy Benched (I know you were looking for new comedy shows)? I have heard it is pretty funny, but have not watched it yet. Stars Eliza Coupe (Happy Endings, Scrubs) and Jay Harrington (Better Off Ted) The premise is Coupe is a high priced corporate laywer who has a meltdown and ends up as a public defender. There has only been 3 or 4 episodes, I am planning to give it a try this week sometime.

I've been listening to Alan Sepinwall about its prospects and was waiting for a few more episodes before watching it. Two cast members from two of my favourite comedies!

My worry with the Happy Endings people is whether they'll still be as funny without each other. Damon Wayans Jr brought down New Girl for half a season before they figured out what to do with him. I didn't really like Adam Pally TBH and haven't liked him on the odd Mindy episode I've seen.
-
The walking dead writers are pricks , making me give a shit about Beth and giving her character some depth and then last night..... The most disturbing part was seeing Darrell finally let something get to him and make him cry .

Now I have to wait till February. Pricks. -
Worst bit
is I saw a meme on Facebook before I watched with Darryl carrying her body, and despite me scanning past quickly the 3 big letters R.I.P made it all too obvious what was gonna happen.

Seemed a bit of a wasted storyline in the end to me...sucks for Maggie...yay Beth's alive...uh oh Beth's dead...
-

">

That ending is a trillion trillions times better than the clusterfuck of an ending they aired.

For the one or two people who were interested a while back, this is apparently the official alternate ending of HIMYM. Much less controversial

<a class="bbc_url" href="
Watching that reminded me why for 4 seasons this was my favourite comedy. -
Jegga!!!! Grrrrr :((

The moment was ruined for me as I saw Jegga's post and even though I stopped reading ASAP I couldn't stop in time.

What were you doing on monday night? Its the opening night of shark week with a show about great whites in NZ followed by zombies being killed, thats almost a perfect evening for me .
-

Is it not shark week over there?

What? You mean Legal Aid Week?
No but that would make a great show, imagine the VoiceOver " his client texted death threats to the victim for weeks was found covered in blood and holding his victims severed but watch as he enters a plea of not guilty therefore ensuring months of unnecessary legal fees . Also if we switch to close up you'll see his pupils change to dollar signs immediately after thd plea is entered...." -

Now watch carefully as the opposing alpha males circle each other carefully as they approach the bench to enter discussion on how best to extend the length of the trial. As the judge orders an early lunch recess, the legal teams retire back to their holes to plan their tax loopholes and battle another day.

-
Throughout this trial we'll be focusing on the body language of the jurors as we watch it dawn on them how much they stand to lose financially . There's only typically six stages of grief- they never usually get acceptance. Look at the most well dressed member obviously heavily mortgaged Ashe contemplates feigning a heart attack and the feral with dreadlocks and tattoos that thought his outward appearance would exempt him from selection. Diversion when you were caught cultivating cannabis wasn't such a good idea in retrospect.

I'm hooked already, can't wait for the next episode!!

Hee hee, this thread is class.

Anyway, back to The Walking Dead:
The writers are back to pushing my buttons in the wrong way again. Why on earth would you go to the oppositions base for a hostage exchange, and area where you are boxed in a tight corridor? I'm unsure how this group stayed alive so long such is their idiocy. The spot they had was perfect with their scoped rifles etc meaning they could have controlled the meet. Grrrrr.

Anyway, they surely did a bloody good job of making Beth a three dimensional character and ensuring we all cared, just like Jegga mentioned in his post. And that whole scene (despite its stupidity was done bloody well) while Darryl's reaction, shooting and then tears, was perfect. Funny also to finally see Maggie give a shit about Beth ....
