Hee hee, this thread is class.

Anyway, back to The Walking Dead:
The writers are back to pushing my buttons in the wrong way again. Why on earth would you go to the oppositions base for a hostage exchange, and area where you are boxed in a tight corridor? I'm unsure how this group stayed alive so long such is their idiocy. The spot they had was perfect with their scoped rifles etc meaning they could have controlled the meet. Grrrrr.

Anyway, they surely did a bloody good job of making Beth a three dimensional character and ensuring we all cared, just like Jegga mentioned in his post. And that whole scene (despite its stupidity was done bloody well) while Darryl's reaction, shooting and then tears, was perfect. Funny also to finally see Maggie give a shit about Beth ....
-

Sons
Well that was a bit of a surprise to be honest. I thought Sutter was leading us to a dramatic finale with Gemma and he does it all with one ep to go. I guess this is true to the story being Jax's journey. I wish I hadn't watched it last night though, it must have been disturbing to me on some lower level because I couldn't get to sleep afterwards.
I still find it amazing how Sutter has you somehow caring (if that's the right word) about a guy that is a complete piece of shit, yet now I need to know if he is lining himself up for an inevitable death or has a cunning plan.
There were a few small things thrown in last night that could either be clues or red herrings. First was Jax getting the other Presidents to agree to waive the 'unwritten bylaw' which we assume is the 'no blacks' one. Is this so the Grim Reaper guys can be patched in and vote on the Mayhem? The other thing was him asking Gemma about JTs manuscript copy. Is there something in there that can save him from Mayhem and maybe also set him free.
I'm thinking he dies. There is some connection to JTs bike which has been restored (maybe he drives it off a cliff?). The writers have also invested time in showing the junkie as really loving the boys and you'd be happy to know they were going to be brought up by her (at Nero's farm).
And what was Nero up to in Jax's garage?
-

sons
well that was fucking brutal.

Anyone else feel sorry for juice at the end? This is all a result of that DEA guy threatening him with the revelations of his dad being black. everything stems from that. to see him broken, and ready to die was pretty shitty.

Jax killing Wayne was fucked. I didn't like that at all. I felt sorry for Wayne, poor bastard.

Wow, Gemma, you gotta bullet in your motherfucking head. And no one loves you. Eat shit mole.

And so one to go. Everything setting up for Jax to die. And i think he deserves it, he's a shitty human being. I'm not sure i want him riding off in to the sunset. I'm not sure i want any of them to, to be honest. Especially after wasting all those Chinese dudes at the end.
-

The chick on the walking dead sho played the cop in charge of the hospital is in ads on soho for Stephen Merchants movie, she look suite different (read hotter ) than on the walking dead.

Sons
For me, the question is about what will Nero do. Heâ€s always been pretty controlled and relaxed, but you can tell he must have a nasty streak, his heart was broken by Gemma, and it is clear he didnâ€
t want what happened to happen, add to this, he sent Uncer there to look after Gemma, will Jaxâ€
s death be at his hand, or will Jax kill him (the latter better not happen)

God you could see the Jax-Wendy thing coming, she has always loved him, and he shags anything that moves, so it was inevitable with her moving about his house, and I bet she shags like M4Lâ€s sewing machine!

Pissed Uncer was killed, that was the biggest shock for me, while he has turned a blind eye to alot of the Sons actions over the years, at his core, he was good, and even more so now.

Am surprised they did kill Gemma, I honestly thought sheâ€d be left on her own to live in suffering for all that had died because of her.

I feel a bit for Juice, things he did was always in the interests of the Sons, even to the end, so loyal, and thats what he gets for it.

You know Jax is up to something, he always seems to be one step ahead, or if heâ€s behind, he is thinking ahead...whats his end game? Not so sure what that unwritten by-law will be, guess the black thing makes sense, but I donâ€
t see the patching over of the Grim Bâ€
s as a huge thing, so makes me think it is something else and then the manuscript, seems the first time theyâ€
ve trotted that out for a while.

It could have been easy for him to just say Jury admitted he did it, not sure why he did, but he did, to give him a slight out, I mean with all Jax has done, to admit to that was odd when he coulda lied and only he would know (honour, pfft) so you know again, he has something up his sleeve.

Maybe he is gonna do a runner, but the way things are heading, even if he tried, he will have to see Nero when he picks up his kids.

the focus has moved away from Damian now too, it is all on Jax, to tie in with this series, I expect he will be shot down in a blaze of glory, with plenty of collateral damage.
-

Ok, so I'm up the Flash crossover episodes of Arrow. So I'm wondering whether I should watch Flash? Is it any good? Do I need to watch it for the crossover episodes to make sense?

I haven't watched it yet because I'm wary of being superheroed out with Arrow, Gotham and the Flash (well comic booked out with Shield as well).
-

Anyone been watching Happy Valley? Is pretty good.

Finale of Happy Valley tonight!
-

I only ever knew her as the reasonably hot barmaid on Coro st which is a show I try to avoid. I assumed that she was playing somebody who resembled herself in real life and never thought she'd be able to pull off a role like the one in Happy Valley. I hope she got some sort of acting award for it .
-

I assume that's an autocorrect for 'good in'?

Yes, it's a pity they couldn't find a kid as good for Abel in SOA.

Good show Happy Valley. I like the way the writers took what you assumed the structure of the story would be and screwed with it, taking it well away from a procedural.
-

Yeah good in was what I meant. Her son was a tool, the scene at her birthday was a shocker, I thought it was very well done. -

SOA. Beware the interwebby for Spoilers on the finale.

A book has been written with cast quotes etc that was under embargo until after the screening but some dumbass distributor has sent some copies out early. Sutter is fuming and asking that fans keep anything they find out to themselves, but no doubt some knob end will think it's smart to let the cat out of the bag.
-

AMC put up spoilers about the Walking Dead mid-season finale straight after it aired in the States, obviously the retard that did so, forgot that the rest of the world is not in that same time zone and many had yet to see it...they have issued apologies!

SOA
Unlike the others I actually thought he always was going to kill her, what I didn't expect, and thought it was stupid was him killing Unser. I've added that killing to many of the Boardwalk Empire killings in the stupid killings list. Also, him hooking up with Wendy - yawn. Also, just leaving the bodies lying there, no silencer on the gun etc - stupid writing.

I really only care about what happens to Nero now TBH.
This episode wasn't spoiled for me but then again I don't think Jegga has been watching it ;).
-

Nope, it never really grabbed me but judging by the reaction to it here its obviously a decent show.
-
SOA
No surprises for me either really. I was thinking all remaining from the start are going to be killed off, but now I think Wendy will stay alive - and ride off with Nero. Nero was fixing the bike to break when Jacks tries to ride off...
