We have a very similar thing here. And my neighbour in his council submission just wrote dark grey for everything to get it passed, knowing full well he wasn't having that colour on either the roof or the walls.

@mariner4life Justifiable homicide. I like it, that is reasonable defence. Doing my bit for natural selection.
Retaining walls: Has to be light grey here. Why that is more "natural" than weathered timber is beyond me, and yes that is what they will be. I own a paint shop and no fucking way am I touching natural timber, I will plant trees, flax, whatever and those council morans will suck it up.

@mariner4life do the council not come out and do inspections to ensure that everything is compliant and matches with the plans submitted? As daft as some of the rules might be...

I thought there was another of the female persuasion still floating about that posts very occasionally and isn't obviously a woman if you go by the moniker?
