@RLx31 you leave to fight for a cause that is against 'your country', you lose your rights as a citizen of that country, seems pretty simple.

Simple and wrong. I don't agree that people should be made stateless. Besides, what if you're fighting the "good fight"?

Against your own country? That makes no sense.

The only alternative IMO is to let her come back in and spend life in prison for Treason.

    Then I’m paying for it.

    No.

'There is now a micro generation between the years of 1977 and 1983 called Generation Xennial.'

According to who? The same people that insist there's now 83 genders?

'But unlike Gen X, they were able to adapt to these new technologies very quickly and easily.'

Oh it's this argument; if I say it then it's true.

This sounds like the bitter ravings of a non Xennial. It's OK, we'll explain technology to you.

Not sure I have the attention span for that. Can someone advise if my (possibly new) generation has that trait?

Sounds like a horoscope. Look hard enough and you'll find a little piece of yourself in there

That's very similar to my initial thought...
All this generation bullshit can't be right, nor the gender nonsense... there's obviously 12 types of people in the world... and nothing else matters more than the month you were born in. Idiots.

How is this news? How stupid was the guy to ring the cops? Perhaps he's trying the temporary insanity defence on his wife?

Plus it’s a known end cost versus an open chequebook.

@Siam not if they steal your wallet and car (true story) was an interesting conversation to have with someone...especially when they had actually given the keys willingly, as part payment....

@taniwharugby I was at a Conference in KL. Only 9* of the 50 something attendees made it to the 9:00 a.m. start one day as the local hookers had had plenty of custom the night before.

However the most notable absentee was the GM of Australia who was helping Police with their enquiries.

Basically he had taken a hooker back to his hotel room only to discover some unexpected tackle. Cue violent remonstrations by said Ocker who was last seen running down the street in only his undies chasing the shemale who had nicked the guys watch from the bedside table as payment for the lost opportunity (who takes their watch off to do the business?)

Very shamefaced Aussie turned up at lunchtime and tried to tell everyone that his watch had been grabbed in the street. I pointed out that the pickpocket was a real virtuoso having managed to nab the guys shirt, pants, shoes and socks as well as the watch.

Watch was a wedding anniversary present. Lucky bastard managed to find an exact copy for about $20 and get it inscribed so that wife was never the wiser.

    • I was one of the nine.

@dogmeat unbelievable, almost exactly the same thing happened when I was at a week long conference in Chicago in 2011.
3 keynote speakers from a multi national sauce company, flew in by private jet, such was there status, and "something " happened to one of them. I knew the inside story and viewed the hotel video. Bloke comes in with 2 black women. Then vid shows 2 black men with a laptop and small suitcase being chased down fire escape. The fellow was actually late for his presentation on stage and his senior made him do it. Only a few of us noticed his bedraggled state and same suit.

Charlie Sheen (who could have gotten a chick for every minute of every day) liked hookers because he didn't have to worry about the emotional attachment. Makes sense if you need to root alot. Personally I'd prefer just to go Laura Palmer and her five sisters, but that isn't nearly enough for some.

@dogmeat oh, one more salient point.
My extensive dealings with the Asian underworld have led me to the conclusion that the "moment of discovery", is a ruse. The "didn't know till later" fellas are not being totally truthful...but it fits a more acceptable narrative
