    American Assassin

That was a lot of fun. Plenty of boomstick and espionage headfuck. Not incredibly deep or original, but there were layers to it I found interesting. Keaton is a great psycho, and the young guy playing Rapp was pretty capable.

Killed off the best pair of norks in the first scene which was disappointing. Gains points for introducing boobs later.

Yeah I thought that movie was pretty fun. Couple of absolute spunks in it too

Schindlers list has had a bit of press lately for its 25th anniversay, i might go and see it on the big screen again.

If anyone can watch this scene without feeling like they're chopping onions then they're a tougher bloke than I am. How Neeson didn't win an Oscar ( excuse the pun ) for this is anyone's guess.

Someone also made a comparison on FB between his comments of many years ago to the young Isis bitch and how everyone is hauling him over the coals yet they're extending her every courtesy.

He'll always be a dead set leg end for this movie alone in my eyes despite some recent crap he's been in.

That was a brilliant film, Spielberg's decision to film it in B&W was a masterstroke. I remember being totally tense the whole way through, powerful cinema

I’m totally on my own here, but I would have loved colour. Black and White made it feel old for me, and not as good

Neeson recent comments were dumb and naive. Reality is he didn’t do anything and regrets his thoughts. A great big nothing for me.

It was wrong to reject the coach but you can’t blame the player for showing his emotion there.

Plays 120 mins then manager tries to sub him for the shoot out. Crude analogy but the only thing that is similar is to be in a porn film then subbed out for the money shot.

Always calls for a healthy overreaction and quoting Orwell:

The thought police would get him just the same. He had committed--would have committed, even if he had never set pen to paper--the essential crime that contained all others in itself. Thoughtcrime, they called it. Thoughtcrime was not a thing that could be concealed forever. You might dodge successfully for a while, even for years, but sooner or later they were bound to get you.

Sylvester Stallone's last outing as John Rambo will be heading to theaters this year, as Deadline brings word of the Rambo: Last Blood release date. The fifth installment in the iconic franchise is scheduled for a September 20, 2019 release, where it will have no competition, although it does drop one week after IT: Chapter 2 .

Rambo: Last Blood finds John Rambo coping with intense PTSD while living on a ranch in Arizona, trying to pick up casual work wherever he can. Soon his friend and estate manager Maria informs him that her granddaughter went missing after crossing into Mexico for a party, so John travels south of the border to find the youngster. The quest quickly turns into a violent descent into hell as Rambo uncovers a sex-trafficking ring, teaming up with a journalist whose half-sister has also been kidnapped. Rambo has to deploy all his skills to save the girls and bring down a vicious crime lord.

The film is directed by Adrian Grunberg with Matt Cirulnick ( Absentia ) writing the screenplay for Rambo: Last Blood , which Avi Lerner and Kevin King will produce.

Finally watched 'Ready Player One'. I thought it was outstanding. As a former gamer I loved all the references to games of my past. Very fun movie and considering where VR is now really not that far fetched either

Watched both of the National Treasure movies with my boys on the weekend. They loved them! Which is great, as the first is a guilty pleasure of mine.

The 2nd is much, much weaker (the same movie really, just inferior), but the first is a fun family adventure movie.

    And Diane Kruger.

Watched Mortal Engines on the weekend.

Was ok, not a must see, and probably 30 mins too long, but ol' Pete loves himself a long movie.

    Bohemian Rhapsody.

I thought it was sensational. I'm a half arsed queen fan (love their hits, own none of their albums) but have always found their story intriguing. I'm not sure the lead guy quite gets Mercury on the big stage stuff, but then again, maybe thats not really possible. Great movie though.

    Captain Marvel.

Much funnier than I expected, similar to an Antman type film. Fury was very amusing at times.

I managed to put aside my dislike of Brie “I hate white men” Larsen long enough to enjoy the film (mainly by pretending I was watching Katee Sackhoff).

She’s no Chris Evans, so if they are really planning to base the next phase around her I suspect those plans might change.

Enjoyed the film, but is one of those Marvel films that you forget as you walk out the door (Antman, Thor 2, Black Panther).

Wait you don’t like Brie Larson?
I find it’s best to ignore their stupid pointless opinions (just trying to make themselves more relavent) and focus purely on their looks and hotness.

I don’t find her attractive at all. Not a fan of skinny fat girls, I like muscle tone.

Which Brie is lacking in. She's an average looking girl who benefits from having a bit of a rack.

it's really very good. Way better than Costner's (which is still pretty good to be fair)
