    The combine is great for instagram, and just highlights the serious athletes trying to get NFL contracts.

    Obviously the guy everyone is talking about is wide receiver DK Metcalf.

    1.9m tall and 103kg, he measured 1.6% body fat. His wingspan an impressive 2.1m

    Some of his numbers are insane:
    27 reps of 100kg on the bench;
    4.33 sec 40-yard dash;
    1.03m vertical jump

    That is some athlete.

    Some of the 40-yard dash times from the defensive line guys yesterday were insanely fast given how big those units are.

    So he's good in the gym, but can he play?

    it's not hard, run down field, catch ball, get ironed out. Even i could do it.

    Sounds like another work-out warrior who rises in the draft stocks due to his running/lifting. Never heard of him until today. All that matters for a WR is can they run the proper route each time and catch the ball.

    Might be a hell of an athlete, but can he turn?

    apparently his cone tests weren't quite as stellar. But as your downfield receiver that's not a bad target.

    could easily be the case, but his numbers for Ole Miss aren't too bad. Had a couple of injuries which means his draft stocks were maybe pretty low before this week.

    Edit: not sure how i quoted myself and not sneak

    What's really interesting is if the rumours are true and Arizona take Kyler Murray at 1 and trade Josh Rosen.

    Whilst crazy at first - it actually makes sense - if you are going to name Kliff Kingsbury as your coach why not give him the QB that fits his system perfectly rather than try and square peg-round hole the current QB just because you drafted him last year (under a different head coach).

    Redskins seem like a logical destination for Rosen if he gets traded. They are on the hook for decent $ to Alex Smith even though by all accounts he can't play this season due to injury. So they need a cheap QB and Rosen is only owed $6-$7 million total on the rest of his deal (3 years).

    @KiwiMurph I think it's more likely to happen than not. Arizona could get a late first or a early second for Rosen and draft Murray. A team like Washington or Miami would be wise to make that trade because Rosen has the chance to be a good QB (most rated him the best QB in last year's draft).

    Who was rating him the best QB in the draft? Darnold and Mayfield seemed to be more commonly rated as best. The consensus was technically good but questionable leadership and drive.

    That said, if he was in this years draft he'd the top QB easily.

    @Cyclops Darnold and Rosen were considered the best QBs going into the draft. Mayfield was a surprise to go number one as most had him ranked fourth.

    Case Keenum being traded to Redskins from Denver. Denver and Washington are splitting Keenum's salary.

    It doesn't quite take Skins out of the Rosen sweepstakes if he is on the market but gives Skins a big upgrade on Colt McCoy.

    Drama about AB is hilarious.
    Word gets out that Steelers are close to trading him to the Bills. AB kills that deal.
    Steelers tried to deal him to a trash team and it seems to have backfired.
    I still can't see the Steelers trading him to the Pats, Chiefs, Chargers or Colts. But then I can't see AB going to a trash team either.

    @mimic He's going to a NFC team for sure so most likely the 49ers or either Arizona, Carolina, Washington.

    Or to Oakland/Las Vegas. Yeah, definitely Oakland/Las Vegas.

    Trade away Amari Cooper, and for Antonio Brown? Brown's a better player but older, way more disruptive and only slightly cheaper.

    And they've traded away two time probowl guard Kelechi Osemele + a 6th for a 5th rounder from the Jets.

    Clears about 11 million from their cap, and Osemele had a down year in 2018 (after going to the probowl in 2016 and 17).

    Clearing space for a Brown/Bell reunion?

    Derek Carr.

    It will be interesting what the Raiders do next with their 3 number 1 picks.

    The talk is that they want both Bell and Kyler Murray (trading up to 1).
