This is what civil war looks like. Almost certainly a propaganda film about the Ukrainian conflict, from the pro-Rusk p.o.v., but it's a brutal and utterly gripping short war film. For all I know it could be a hoax, but the participants don't seem like actors. If they are, they should get Oscars. 
 
Summary: Ukrainian separatist (Crimean, Russian-speaking) rebels capture Ukrainian reservists and shame them in public square, cutting their shoulder insignias and making them eat them while old women beat & harangue them.

No-one does propaganda like the Russians. It was a good mix of stock footage and battlefield stuff and you'd believe it, right up until the woman starts begging the <strike>Soviet</strike> Russian officer to save them. I've no doubt there are a shitload of people living in Ukraine who would rather be part of Putin's megalomania, but the ones who don't, and STILL live in eastern Ukraine, aren't exactly shouting their beliefs from rooftops right now.

Eastern Ukraine... how about everywhere else? Like this guy (Ukraine journalist) arrested in Kiev (located in north Ukraine) for making this video refusing draft enlistment? (Freedom of the press, much?)

Or this woman, who resisted Ukrainian army officers who came to Velikaya Znamenka (also, north Ukraine) instructing men to prepare to be drafted for military service?

The Russians may be great at propaganda, but it's the current Ukraine (democratic, cough) government rounding up and arresting draft refuseniks in parts other than eastern Ukraine for "treason" (e.g.. standing on rooftops and shouting "hell, no!"). It seems the only Ukrainians interested in pursuing aggression against the eastern separatists today are the hard-right nationalists (fascists with neo-nazi sympathies) who just today said they are going to ignore Poroshenko's ceasefire order. Fun times.
