While we are on the BBC, i discovered the BBC First channel the other night. Some good drama on that. A couple that i started that look alright were a Cold War drama called "The Game", a political drama called "Secret State" and an interesting take on the british gangster story, where the head of a crime family gets Alzheimers called "The Fear". All were very watchable

Keep an eye out for "Peaky Blinders" M4L. Excellent drama with an awesome performance from our Sam Neil
-

Is anyone watching The Last Man on Earth? I liked the first couple of episodes but the main character just crossed into completely annoying after being borderline (I expect on purpose). I want to like it more than I do I just don't.

6 new Episodes of X Files ordered

http://tvline.com/2015/03/24/x-files-revival-reboot-six-new-episodes-fox/

The truth is <del>out there</del> right here: The X-Files is indeed returning to Fox, with original stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprising their respective roles as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

Fox has officially ordered a six-episode continuation of its phenomenally successful supernatural drama, to shoot this summer and (presumably) air at some point next season. (An official airdate remains TBD.)

“I think of it as a 13-year commercial break,†said X-Files creator Chris Carter, who will oversee the new episodes. “The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories.â€

The X-Files ended its nine-season run on Fox in May 2002, but the franchise was resurrected on the big screen in 2008â€
s The X-Files: I Want to Believe, a follow-up to 1998â€
s The X-Files: Fight the Future. When last we saw Mulder and Scully in Believe, they were grudgingly helping the FBI find some missing women/bust up a bizarre, Frankenstein-like operation in Virginia. Also important to know: The bureau had pardoned Mulder for going on the lam (at the end of the seriesâ€
run), Scully had returned to her medical career, and the partners were still romantically entangled and living together.

Duchovny will next be seen in NBCâ€
s Charles Manson-themed drama Aquarius, while Anderson has Season 3 of Hannibal on deck. Coincidentally, the two shows will air back-to-back on Thursdays this summer. News of the X-humation comes roughly a year after Fox jump-started another one of its marquee franchises, 24, with a limited-series order. Although Live Another Day didnâ€
t make much noise in the ratings, it was well-received by critics and fans alike.

“We had the privilege of working with Chris on all nine seasons of The X-Files — one of the most rewarding creative experiences of our careers — and we couldnâ€
t be more excited to explore that incredible world with him again,†said Fox chairmen Gary Newman and Dana Walden in a statement. “The X-Files was not only a seminal show for both the studio and the network, it was a worldwide phenomenon that shaped pop culture — yet remained a true gem for the legions of fans who embraced it from the beginning. Few shows on television have drawn such dedicated fans, and weâ€
re ecstatic to give them the next thrilling chapter of Mulder and Scully theyâ€
ve been waiting for.â€

The good thing is Scully is still hot.

any of the Banshee watchers seen Banshee Origins?

I watched a few during S1. Thanks for the reminder I must go watch them.
The best 'origins' stories seem to be coming in the show itself at the moment -

I havent seen any, so I guess it will fill in some gaps?

I'm only an episode in so don't really know yet, but it's been a rating juggernaut in the States so I assume it will be around a while yet. The spin off show starts this year as well.
-

TR, shame on you. Even saying Jegga will love it didn't make me rush out to watch. What you neglected to tell everyone is that this has hotties, the same hotties with their kit off, then the same hotties again getting it on with each other.

All this time I've been wondering whether to watch and now I'll have to binge.

PS: Nepia, the hotties look very much of your type. Look up the show on IMDb, check out the actresses then ask yourself if you'd like to see them nekkid.
-

Anywhoo, Walking Dead finale...not sure what to make of it.
The black guy that has been following them since Ep1 finally caught up...

Glen shoulda killed that twat!

Thought it was an odd thing for them to be all anti-Rick and then Deana tell him to kill the wife beater so quickly...although with Rick angling for his wife, maybe it shouldnt be such a surprise.

I guess th ebiggest things were the black dude finally showing up and this new Wolf gang...not sure what thier end game is, I mean setting those traps? What is the point? It isnt like they can train zombies or doing anything other than trap them??
-

I had a look on the IMDB page and the first four I looked at on the cast list didn't look my type at all (bar maybe one but there weren't any good pic of her) ... maybe the ones who get their kit off are different ones?

Obviously I'm going to need to do some more research and watch some episodes. :)
