<p>Aside from the eye candy the show gets better quite quickly as you work out who is who and what they are doing. The first ep was very messy.</p> -

I expect the first episode was done with capturing viewers attention, story secondary. <br><br>
I finished s1, wasn't too bad, not a must view but certainly on my list of ones I enjoy as time fillers. -

OK so it is not a typical series but "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart is huge in the states and elsewhere. He anounced that he would retire this year and the hunt for a successor was on.......and No........this is not an April fools joke!!!! Trevor Noah is the man!!! I am absolutely stoked for him! That is one huge gig dude! We've got all his dvd's and we still watch some of them when we get homesick.....the guy is hilarious and taking that comedy to the States in a primetime slot is unbelievable.....<br><br>

<p>Apparently he's already in the shit for comments he's made on twitter in the past - sexist and anti semitic. I read the supposed anti semitic ones and one was just about Israel (and not even a little bit anti semitic) and the other was about rappers having Jewish managers, which is an old joke that I've heard other black comics make quite often.</p> -

American right-wingers are the least of his problems. Its not like they watch the show. Its the so-called progressives and forever offended he has to worry about.<br><br>
Nepia: I think his mother might have been part Jewish. At any rate, that's a pretty weak defence. Personally, I find the double-standard more offensive than anything he has said or written.
