<p>This was my 2nd quiz for today, most caps for Scotland.</p>

<p>Most of these guys had some fairly unflattering winning percentages I might add, one or two got into the 40s.</p> -

<p>I tried the Hastings brothers, then realised my brain is past being able to think ... then when I stopped it I realised I would have got hardly any of them. Sorry Scotland rugby.</p> -
My first guess was "Hastings" thinking "There's two ... ". When it didn't work I looked at the dates...<br><br>
The only names that came to mind were contemporaries of them ... or before...[spoiler] Rutherford Laidlaw Irvine Jeffery Sole Milne Stanger Weir ... even McGeechan [/spoiler]<br><br>
And one I got guessing another blokes surname. [Spoiler]I got Scott Murray guessing Euan [/spoiler]<br><br>
I did think of one but couldn't think of his name.[spoiler] Hines [/SPOILER] -
<p>Not many jocks will like me for saying this, but that list is a sad indictment of Scottish Rugby in that all bar one or two would never figure in a list of Scotland's Greatest Players.</p>

<p>Took me a while to get 12. Made up for the Scotland one - I gave up when I had just one and couldn't think of that winger's name that would have given me two.</p>

<p>Not sure why Nepia, although the late John Drake would castigate him for his scrummaging every time he came to NZ, maybe that's it.</p>

<p>Interesting how he played for so long, wasn't that good, however nobody coming through in that position over there until Mike Ross came through.</p> -

<p>I can't speak for anyone else but I remembered he was one of the Irish centurions from an earlier quiz. A process of elimination.</p>
