It was pretty epic. Just too dark. I get it's the long night but it makes for hard viewing.
A lot of people complaining about that but for me it was perfect. Go anywhere without light pollution, on a cloudy night and a new moon. It's dark as balls. Hint for the Night's Watch; artillery firing illum rounds.
Also:

Arya, you just get better and better.

Fuck me, I watched on neon, not at all what I expected. This is not a spoiler, I dunt think but
:::it was so annoying that all the named characters that died had to die heroically. Really the should have been one or two, that just died in the battle. Fighting, got killed, that's totally war:::
Phew spoiler tags worked, what an episode!

Ok spoiling, its great how everyone has been concentrating on the war against the dead. There will be some major back stabbing and shit now! Stand by for backstabbing, skullduggery, and politics.
But who would have thought Night King dead, more than half the season to go? It's a little bit LotR, with yay Sauron defeated, now we have to clean out the Shire. Cersuman
Also RIP Ghost edit oh not he's in the preview

I'm gonna say this: I'm a bit disappointed in the Night King storyline and that will be the vibe over the next few days for most people.
For a character who brought so much curiousity as to his back story and what his ultimate goal was, for him to go down in his first battle beyond the wall is a bit of a let down.
Kudos to Ayra though, that makes it more cooler than just Jon Snow killing him off.

@Sneakdefreak yeah I like it cos I'm convinced there will be so much more to it, like prophecies, warging, extra plot lines, etc, in the books - and it's not spoiled!
-
@Baron-Silas-Greenback was a callback to her fight with Brianne where she did the same thing. Mr Sarcasm

Yeah I did think once the credits rolled that maybe the show runners chose to leave that for the author to explain. Or it would have cost too much for an already massive budget.

The show just put up a longer fight than the battle of helms deep, with some amazing cinematography, and this is a TV show. Yet people still complain.
I doubt there is any resolution that will keep people happy with what’s been built up in their imagination.
I enjoyed the hell out of that episode.
Ayra’s Nobody storyline paying off big time.

@Kirwan I enjoyed it, but it really didn't pay off so many of the hints and prophecies, Azor etc. But it was fun to watch.
Isn’t that a book thing though? I can’t remember if that’s been mentioned on the show.
Will always get more depth in books.

Well I'm glad the dead are gone from the story. Zombies are boring
I’m hoping the foreshadowing for Cersi having something planned for Dani has her murdering her in a gruesome way.
And I want a Hound/Mountain fight.

@Kirwan Azor Ahai mentioned Everytime Mel was on screen, she specifically called out Jon being it.
What are the body crop circles? Who was the Night King? I guess Bran will tell us, quickly, at some point
Yeah, I might not have been listening to her much...

I am guessing another chess piece chatting etc episide... then a decisive episode... then a what happens next to who is left episide.

Ok now I'm calm from the neat shock of Night King being dead already, and mostly great Cinema. I'm actually pissed there is so little pay off to 7 sessions (and years of reading the books) of build up to the night King, Prince that was promised, song of ice and fire, all those hints and stuff. Gone. Arya just teleported to right next to him, he was surrounded by his troops, and kills him.
Yeah I'm looking forward to politics and stuff likes it's season 1 again. But that's it for the whole white walkers storyline?
Maybe that's not the end, big twist coming, but can't see it.
Pissed that there was no grey with the villain, no motivation or reason. Despite Martin taking about that continually. He wanted everyone dead, never said a word (I'm was sure he was going to speak to Bran), good guys won
Annoyed with the lack of main character deaths, and the number of just in time saves. Along with every character that died doing so in a heroic fashion, all very Hollywood.
Happy that the books will be so different.
Sad that martin will probably die before he finishes
/End of moan

The video session between the Night King and his white walker generals will be tough. They all stood there while Arya ran through them. It was like watching the Warriors.
I get the reason for using the Night King as a mcguffin but I really wanted him to win the Ironthrone. Now my boy's out of the race as they turn for home I'm going to have to hope Cersei comes through with the win.

I just watched End Game and yet Arya Stark's big moment was the best thing I have seen recently. My hands shot into the air and yelled "yes!!!"
