If the user doesn't have an account, the query should be only return the first part of the article. Instead, they are returning the entire article and using css to hide a portion of it.
That is unbelievably crap
Surely this is a temporary solution and they haven't implemented their final code??

And to answer the discussion we removed, I don't believe it's theft as they have given you the content and then half-assed hiding it.
That extension will be against the terms of service of the extension store though, and shouldn't last long.
Seriously, that is amateur hour stuff. Embarrassingly bad, has to be a temporary solution.

Would that explain why I can often read pay-walled articles when clicking links from twitter, but not if I copy & paste the URL into a browser?

A paywall works if you have something of value

Anyone can see Papali'i is a lot bigger than 95kgs.
The Blues and AB's sites both list Papali'i as 1.93m and 113kg.. thats a pretty good size for a blindside
