@jegga I don't have Netflix, but I have seen the little preview. A bit so-so about that cos her techniques with toys/whip etc was pretty bad. Bad BDSM rep just pisses me off, even if it is supposed to be funny.

Yeah but she wears thigh high boots and a pvc corset .

That is such a low bar on the good mistress scale, Jeg.

@jegga Bare minimum a mistress knows the rules of BDSM and can use toys and tools without inflicting injury (as opposed to controlled environment pain.) Thing is also, in real BDSM the mistress is doing her thing within the boundaries set by the sub. That's usually the key point books and tv and movies get wrong, that the dom/domme has all the power and sub just has to shut up and take it. Don't even get me started on the complete fucking nonsense in movies/books like FSOG.

    Herein endeth the sermon.

@jegga I think she’s much hotter on the show than in just pictures.

Agree, she is hot as fuck in the show. I thought her and her co star were really good in their respective roles too.

Also Janet from the Good place is all kinds of awesome.

I’m only two episodes in so can’t rate Janet’s awesomeness yet.

anyone watching the new Twilight Zone series?

A bit average TBH...best ep was the Airplane one, not really spooky or eerie like some of the old ones (which probably arent now either)

We started watching Les Miserable last night to catch get up to date as they are two episodes in on TVNZ. Went to TVNZ online on the telly and watched the first two and then could see we could watch the whole series adless on TVNZ online!!! Seemed strange that you could watch more than they have showed with ads.

@Hooroo they do that quite alot...not sure on thier reasoning.

Similarly the NZ series Bad Seed, they aired the 5 eps of that on consecutive nights...guess they are trying to find thier place?

@Mokey Have you seen The Duke of Burgundy? It's one of my favourite films from the last decade.

    Homecoming on Amazon Prime

Julia Roberts, drugs that erase memories and veterans

Just too slow. Could've been a couple of episodes fewer.

Just finished the full series of Longmire.

All 63 episodes and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. A great modern take on the western with a good cast. Aussie Robert Taylor in the lead as Walt Longmire, Starbuck Katie Sackhoff as Vic Moretti and Lou Diamond Phillips as Henry (Hank) Standing Bear as well as a really strong supporting cast.

For the most part, thought this was very well written and had a deep underlying story line that lasted the full 6 season and admirably concluded.

Some amazing scenery and one of the best depictions of "res" life, that being First Nations People (Indian) reservations and the struggles and nuances of life in the res.

The story is set in Wyoming, but the series was filmed in New Mexico which gave a gritty realistic feel to the story.

I really enjoyed this and would recommend it to anyone with 60 plus hours to kill.

Just finished an interesting little series on Netflix, ‘Losers’.
Each episode focuses on some sportsman/woman or team that basically either had a meltdown or fucked their career up. Only 7 or 8 episodes and had to say none were events or moments I’d previously heard of.
Fun light watch, often in some cases there was a silver lining or moment of retribution for the affected person.
    Definitely recommend it.

Episode 1 of Chernobyl was good, liked how it went straight into the incident.
They were completely clueless weren’t they, utterly had no idea how serious it was.
All those firemen that rushed in to fight the fire...

Nice distraction from the final couple weeks of GOT

There were pics of workers at Fukushima with their feet, in slippers/shoes, in the water - their bosses didn't have the excuse of ignorance. I'm not sure if they were very brave and didn't have any protective gear (why?), or they were stupid and didn't know?
