Look, I'm well aware of the narcissistic properties of the item. However, they are trumped by the cool shit. It fucking flies and follows you around. 
Yes, its main application will be fluffybunnies videoing themselves doing normal shit, and "epic" selfies, but right now it's essentially a flying robot, like the start of T2.

Has anyone got one of those little robot vacuum cleaners? I'm assuming that if they were the miracle they look to be, I'd hear all my friends raving about them - but, they don't.

When I was at high school, we went on a rugby trip to Geraldine and got billeted out. I got sent to this wealthy farming family out of town.
 
When we arrived at the place, their (fairly deaf and not surprising) father said, "Oh, are you going to fire the gun, boys?"
 
I thought we'd be going rabbit shooting, but these fuckers had bought an old artillery gun at an auction.
 
They welded a base on a piece of metal piping, filled it up with blasting powder, inserted a fuse, tamped it all down with dirt - stuck a bigger bit of metal piping over the top - shoved it all in the breech and lit the fuse.
 
We waited, with hands over ears.....................................................................then BOOM....WFFWHIP, WFFWHIP, WFFWHIP... as the metal piping spun through the air.
 
They reckoned it had a range of about a kilometre.
 
Not sure OSH would be too impressed about that as a school trip activity, these days!
