They just dragged another B52 out of the boneyard and got it airworthy , they reckon the airframe has another 30 years left in it. -

Sadly I only ever intercepted 2, so no Bear Hunter badge for me. They are just coming back after 25 or so years!

Were you the guy quoted in the Uk papers saying you never expected to actually see one in the air? It was the first time they’d gone into Uk airspace for a long time and the pilots seemed more excited about the novelty of seeing one rather than any actual threat .
