Massive game by the Raptors ‘big 3’ off the bench. 48/19/11 combined.

Bucks got nothing from their bench.

Pressure on the Greek Freak to come up big at home. Even though he scored 25 today, the last 2 games he has been handled by some stingy well organised defence.

Either way the winner of the series is going to get chewed up by the Warriors machine

The only hope is that with the Warriors getting so much time off they come out cold in game 1 and lose one.

That will make it a ‘series’ that will end in 5...

He’s had a decent apprenticeship in the NBA and now gets his head coaching shot. Good news.

He will have his work cut out to see if last years decent recruiting class can take that next step up. From all reports this years recruits are that great with one good prospect, so he will need those sophomores to be better.

If anything some of the ‘good’ nostalgia will be back in Ann Arbor

This EC finals series is a bit of a rock fight. I'd be surprised if either of these teams challenge the Warriors, even without KD.

Drake leads the Raptors into their very first NBA Finals.

That was a really fun game. Raptors crowd went nuts once Raptors began their comeback.

Of course Warriors will be favourites but I wouldn't write off the Raptors. They have a chance.

Loved the atmosphere in that game throughout the final quarter, was electric. At least the Raptors get to start the finals series at home by virtue of having been the first seed, as they'll need every advantage they can get.

Raptors home crowd is one of the best.

Bucks had no answers to the Klaw team defence. Giannis will have plenty of tape to watch and how he couldn’t deal with the wall-like D from the Raptors.

Raptors bench were huge in this series. I like their small ball lineup with Ibaka at centre and a mix of Kawhi, PS, Van Fleet, Lowry, Powell and Green.

If Raptors don’t win game 1, I fear it could be like last years finals.

I’ve got a couple of journo mates looking into the story.

I saw something a couple of days ago that first mentioned this and it seemed a throwaway line on social media, but given the network of the Breakers owners I would not be surprised at all.

Lakers 2.0: The failed reboot of the NBA's crown jewel

Lakers 2.0: The failed reboot of the NBA's crown jewel

A public resignation. A coach firing. A botched coaching search. And that's just the past 45 days for the NBA's marquee franchise.

I read that. Sounds like the Breakers will get some lucrative NBA preseason games too

The discussion on the ESPN shows was interesting. I thought they would be against RJ Hampton's decision to go pro (since they have college ball on their channels) but the panellists basically agreed this is the route more players should take.

    Well well well.

    We have a series.

Kawhi had a relatively quiet night - Steph Curry played well - and the Warriors got smoked.

    Very interesting.
