Ana de Armas will star in the next Bond Film
That already earns it more credit in my book
But what the fark is Freddy Mercury doing in the film?
Ahhhhh the Bond series. 57 years and showings no signs of slowing down despite SJWs trying their darndest to turn Bond into a black crippled dwarf lesbian.
New one should be super.
Hopefully it’s as at least as good as a Bourne film this time
Bond > Bourne.
How many times do I have to keep telling you this ?
Get back to me when it’s true
They don't continue a movie franchise for 57 years if it's shit.

Lakeview Terrace
Pretty ho hum thriller, marked up a bit due to SLJs performance as the ultimate neighbour from hell with the law on his side. Our favourite bloke who says "motherfucker" alot sure has an evil sadistic grin and his overall performance is magnificent. Pretty decent although the mobile phone contrivance at the end was a bit stupid.

Inglourious Basterds
Despite the high score I'm gonna give this it's possibly not even in my top three Tarantino flicks which speaks volumes. So good to see it again, I love a good WWII flick and that combined with a whole lot of Tarantino flourishes makes it just terrific. So many great performances ( none more so than Christoph Waltz as the creepy Hans Landa ) and cool scenes, highlights for me were the basement bar scene and the Cinema scene at the end, none amused me more than this though, Landa knew they were frauds and Aldo and the boys knew they were completely fucked Awesome comedy.
4.5 Bear Jews out of 5 Nazi scalps.

Bond > Bourne.
How many times do I have to keep telling you this ?majority of the Bond films arent even in the same genre as Bourne (they were more parodies)
Jason Bourne could kick James Bonds arse though.

Definitely wouldn't say the majority, some of the Moore ones and Diamonds are Forever are pretty silly but a lot of the others are actually quite serious in tone.
......and Bond ALWAYS won his fights even up against bigger/stronger/more skilled opponents ( admittedly often through dodgy/lucky tactics )
So Bourne loses.

Bond would drink Bourne under the table, and wins in the boudoir department too

Every single Bond (including Pierce Brosnan) could kick seven shades of shit out of Maaaaat Damon and dude who plays the shittiest ever Marvel character.

Connery and Lazenby both have legitimate real life tough guy credentials too, especially the latter.

@Rancid-Schnitzel I could kick Brosnans arse!
Damons Bourne is awesome (that fight scene in Morocco I think it was, was awesome) agree on that other 'Bourne' though
The made up character in this movie is way tougher than the made up character in that one...haha TSF at it's finest!

Brosnan is by far the most inferior Bond in my opinion.
I agree, having a "such and such could waste such and such" conversation in my 40's is a bit embarrassing but none on here can legitimately point the finger at anyone else.
All equally dorky.

Nah I think he'd fark you up. He's actually a big bloke and didn't exactly grow up in clover either.
Anyway, personality goes a long way and Bourne doesn't have one. Bourne would get kicked out of a casino for looking like a tramp.

David Niven and Peter Sellers (Casino Royale) could kick Maaaaaaaaaaat Damon's arse.

Apparently Connery smacked over a couple of Edinbugh gang members in the 50s and they wanted him to join after that. Lazenby sparred with Bruce Lee.

Bourne would get kicked out of a casino for looking like a tramp.we are talking about him playing a fictional MI guy who is a bit of a shit fighter, not him in RL..I seen him in a few movies and thought why wasnt he portrayed like that in Bond where he looks dangerous.

Atomic Blonde
Let's get this out of the way: Charlize Theron going dom lesbo on that French chick was awesome. For that alone it was worth watching on Netflix.
Otherwise pretty entertaining. Fucking brutal h2h combat scenes, some cold war intrigue, and a throwback soundtrack used judiciously against some nice cinematography - tho the rotating camera thing got a bit old after the first time they used it.
Twistys and turns and grey areas of engagement, betrayal, and a psychotic James McAvoy. What's not to like?

It’s the Bond thread again
.
My 2 cents:
Bourne. 3 excellent Matt Damon Bourne’s and 1 average one. 1 weird side sequel.Daniel Craig Bond. 1 excellent opening movie, 1 terrible follow up, 2 average as fudge follow ups and hopefully an awesome final movie.
Bourne for the win.

Would you really call Quantum of Solace terrible ?
Admittedly cutting off a countries water supply is pretty unambitious compared to many of the earlier villains and the lead bad guy/henchman combo were about as interesting as watching paint dry but I thought it was a pretty decent actioner.....

@MN5 Yes.
I’d rather watch you and @Bones work out your issues naked mud wrestling than watch that movie again.
Have you read his "fitness blog" ? I think he's got a weight advantage over me at the moment.
