NBA has offensive interference when the ball is above the basket cylinder it can’t be touched.

    Massive win by the Warriors.

Thought in those closing few minutes when they put Klay on Kawhi, it made a big difference.

Warriors win by one. They had it, then blew it, then somehow won it back, then tried desperately to blow it but the Raptors couldn't capitalise.

Game 6 coming up. What a series.

Funnily enough, IF the Warriors win today (big if), do they become the favourites?

To quote myself from before, the answer is now a firm 'no'.

If KD was fit then it changes, but you get the feeling that the Raptors still have the edge.

Iguadala is a liability on offence, Boogie is a liability on defence, and surely Klay and Steph can't sustain their form for much longer.

They will need a spark plug game from Cook, Looney or McKinnie I reckon. They might get it, but I'm still backing the Raptors to get up.

All they need is one more game from them to get to a game 7.

Funnily today’s game seemed like a game 7 and the pressure was fever pitched. Seemed to get to Coach Nurse also calling that timeout....

The longer the series goes the worse the Raptor's chances imho

It also got to Kyle Lowry. And Boogie. And Draymond (that back-court was bizarre).

Pretty much everyone except Klay, Steph and Kawhi.

Achilles injury for KD according to the Warriors GM - bugger. GSW rallied tonight for him but this game was/felt like their last stand.

In other news, the US training squad has been announced:

USA National Team members who are confirmed to participate in the 2019 Las Vegas training camp include:

    Harrison Barnes (Sacramento Kings)
    Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards)
    Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans)
    Andre Drummond (Detroit Pistons)
    Eric Gordon (Houston Rockets)
    James Harden (Houston Rockets)
    Tobias Harris (Philadelphia 76ers)
    Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers)
    Kevin Love (Cleveland Cavaliers)
    Kyle Lowry (Toronto Raptors)
    CJ McCollum (Portland Trail Blazers)
    Khris Middleton (Milwaukee Bucks)
    Myles Turner (Indiana Pacers)
    Kemba Walker (Charlotte Hornets)

    Plus an additional 6 players

    Kyle Kuzma (Los Angeles Lakers)
    Brook Lopez (Milwaukee Bucks)
    Paul Millsap (Denver Nuggets)
    Donovan Mitchell (Utah Jazz)
    Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics)
    P.J. Tucker (Houston Rockets)

Bold would be my starting 5.

@ACT-Crusader You look at that and wonder a) what's the criteria because there are some big names missing, but also b) you realise how much amazing international talent there is in the NBA these days

Looks like a torn Achilles for KD. That's a lengthy outage on the cards. Might change his free agent decisions, might not.

At very least it sucks for the team that gets him.

There are at least 7 players in the NBA finals alone that have played for Team USA and are not in this squad - Curry, Klay, KD, Cousins, Iggy, Draymond, Kawhi

He may have come back too soon, and should silence the voices that said he was shying away from playing to save himself

Yeah it could completely turn around his reputation. Instead of derision he is now a figure of sympathy - risking himself for the team when they needed him most. And he was playing bloody well at the time.

The reaction of Curry, Thompson and Iggy in particular show the regard in which they hold him.

    Who is Kawhi Leonard?

    Who is Kawhi Leonard?

The NBA's most mysterious superstar has defied labels throughout his career, but after Toronto's Game 6 win, he can once again be summed up with one word: champion.

Interesting the stuff about Kawhai choosing SD state over major programs because he wanted to go someone he felt loved, and values loyalty. Nothing but unconditional love in the North for you dude

If it is like previous cycles the players are "encouraged" to make themselves available for this tournament if they want to be considered for Olympics selection next year.

All others have either been there done like LeBron, or are injured or likely carrying injuries in the finals.
