<p>The first of the brilliant Miles Davis and Gil Evans collaborations. Mile famously freaked-out on Columbia Records demanding to know, "Why did you put that white bitch on the cover?" He was furious. Re-issues of the album changed the cover, and Davis made a point of putting his black girlfriends and wives on record covers numerous times thereafter. And no yachts.</p>
