Its been a while since I last saw this masterpiece but from memory he took one of the hippos bullets in the face but there was a scene at the end with him wearing an eye patch?

Jurassic World: I was never a huge fan of the original. TBH dinosaurs have never floated my boat. It was an ok film helped by having Chris Pratt and my ability to overlook annoying plot holes. Unsure how it has done bigger box office than Avengers 2 though which is a far better movie IMHO.

You can't see how Chris Pratt hunting a genetically modified dinosaur while riding a motorbike with his own team of trained velociraptors running alongside him is better than the avengers 2?

I havent actually seen Avengers 2 but I can't for the life of me see how it could top that. Also Richie Cunninghams daughter has lots to appeal to the superficial male such as myself.

The Untouchables. Not one that holds up so well over time, although Sean Connery is his usual fabulous self unashamedly playing the Scottish version of whatever character he is.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? It holds up brilliantly. Plus it's a period piece.

Although I don't know why they didn't just make Connery a Scottish cop instead of an Irish one.

Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation.

Was pretty decent action film, kept me entertained. I have one issue with this serious (only mildly spoilery and doesn't give away too much regarding the latest one but themes of the series in general:
I wish for once that they'd actually just do a mission like how they used to in the TV series. Every Mission Impossible they seem to be on the run from the authorities while trying to solve the mystery to exonerate themselves. For once I'd like to see them on a mission, with all the resources that are available and work through and beat the enemy.
So I watched Paddington last night (I started watching Predestination but had PS3 issues playing it) and I must say it was a good film.

I'd heard and read reviews that it was good so I was a bit wary of it not living up to the hype. But it was funny and even the presence of Nicole Kidman (who I really do not like) didn't hinder it.

Predestination was bloody good too, what I watched of it, I will need to finish it sometime over the weekend.

Finished watching this and thought it was really good but unsure if I lost a bit in my split viewing of it.
Was it supposed to be a big reveal that Ethan Hawke was John near the end? They played it like it was but I thought it was pretty obvious early in the movie.
Continuing my movie watching:

The Gunman - Like TR says, a pretty decent action flick and Penn is ripped to fuck. It was clearly funded by Tobacco companies because there's a bunch of smoking scenes in there that clearly don't need to be - even if one is a device (a poorly handled one) to show a character's physical flaw.

Now that I've seen it I definitely want to see the Neeson, Denzel, Keanu and Penn Avengers style movie. The four of them kicking ass in a movie would be awesome.

The Age of Adaline - Um, Mokey might like this one. So, I made an error with this, I thought it was a thriller with an interesting concept (a woman who doesn't age), but it was actually a romance with a woman who doesn't age.
