<p>I've caught up now and watched all the episodes, I was wrong about Farrell and he's been great imho particularly the scene where the cop dragged him back into the investigation. MacAdams is hot , probably hotter when shes running around with a gun. I'm tempted to start fast forwarding the scenes with Vaughan and his wife but she's not shy about nudity so I'm not 100% on that yet.</p>

<p>I too think Farrell has gotten better as the season as gone on - I thought his cliched cop was pretty awful for the first two episodes but he's definitely changed up. I also think Kitsch has gotten better too. McAdams is hot - too much smoking though.</p>

<p>I think Vaughn without the wife is fine, but whenever the two of them are in a scene it becomes a different show that's a massive handbrake. I don't get the Vaughn hate TBH (it seems manufactured and pre planned from a lot of critics), I don't think of him as a comic character in this which would be the issue, but he's played non light comedy roles in the past. </p>

<p>Still the worst actor and character for me is the Mayor! He's horribly over acting. </p>

Yeah I'm not sold on the mayor , Kitsch is heading for a decent meltdown I reckon especially after the scene with his amoral crone of a mother. I thought those scenes with his mum were quite well done .<br><br>
Have you watched Episodes yet? I hope Matt Le Blanc isn't really like that but his character is hilarious and they aren't shy about mocking some of thd crap he made like Joey. -

The scene where he sacked his beach cleaner was even more cringe inducing than the Office , I'm really surprised that it doesn't seem to be that well known , I guess it's not to everyone's taste like Curb your enthusiasm . -

<p>TBH, I don't think it was as bad as it's being made out to be while not being close to the original or to top tv in general. </p>

<p>As I said above I didn't find VV bad (aside from his scenes with the ginga, that storyline was kak) which may explain my enjoyment more than others and thought Farrell did well after the first couple of episodes where he was just a cliche.</p>

<p>In saying all that they had some huge issues in pacing and storytelling. They likely could have cut anything that wasn't part of the main storyline and fleshed out the VV 'mob' without all the time wasted with the ginga. Its a pity that the writer and director had a spat last year as it appears that they create something better than the sum of its parts together.</p> -
<p>Watched 'Humans' last night. Looks promising but I hope it avoids being drawn out. A short sharp series on this premise with a solid end could be really good.</p>
<p>Liked the way the show didn't avoid the obvious. hen the bloke brought his 'synth' the first thing I thought was 'she's hot' and the first thing they showed was him eyeing her up from behind.</p>
<p>Bit odd for any woman to allow a hot, totally obedient other woman into the house without the 'I will chop your dick off' talk.</p>
