    So the homeopath had no "published credibility"

    Really?

    "Published" is redundant in that sentence anyway.

    The man contradicts himself:

    "We use homeopathic remedies. I am trying to help the people."

    @booboo isnt there evidence about the use of placebo's works on some ailments and/or people?

    HAve to assume some of those same people are the ones who are likely to benefit from pretend Dr's?

    There is evidence that homeopathy doesn't even work as well as placebo.

    C'mon cut her some slack. Human excrement is a well known homeopathic remedy for everything from cold sores to cancer

    @jegga
    A level 10 tertiary Doctoral Degree was required to obtain the title 'doctor' in New Zealand.

    Rehan's Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University in India only translates to a level seven graduate diploma, certificate or bachelors degree.

    Rehan said Dr Preet was simply a nickname to avoid confusion over the pronunciation of his name, but he was free to use the title as it had been awarded to him in India.

    "Why is it a problem?" he asked Stuff.

    At the risk of upsetting people who don't understand why generalisations tend to exist, none of that surprises me.

    @booboo that's actually a pretty funny read. 35 shows is astonishing though. That's not even including the spirit weekends!

    with regard to that Psychic article above, that is on dangerous ground as Hypnotherapists, EFT etc...these guys are doing stuff on Skype with people in other countries, particularly the US, so opens a whole can of legal worms there.

    Think I have mentioned in this thread, some of these ones claim to be able to 'cure' allergies (such as nut allergies)

    @jegga I am sure there will be those out there who see this guy in the same way they see Andrew Wakefield, regardless of being found guilty
