I like Denver’s stocks better than Portland’s right now. There’s a few guys that are still developing their game rather than being at their peak.

If Michael Porter Jr can play and is as good as his pre-injury projections they will be very good. Their centre (is it Nurkic?) is a boss

OKC traded away Jerami Grant to the Nuggets. Where he will no doubt become an all star....

After years of supporting the Sonics and now the OKC, it may be time to reevaluate

Be interesting to see if Steven Adams is traded away or they keep him as the veteran on a young team rebuilding.

    @Sneakdefreak

Is there any talk of that or potential places? I haven’t seen any.

If he went to the Mavs, my current two team support thing could go, which would be nice.

Or the Nets, which I started following when Marks took over and now look like they’ll be worth watching. Interesting fact - Brooklyn merch is everywhere here, especially on girls, I guess because the color scheme is easy to match?

Not sure anyone would be game enough to take on his contract. Still got two years left at $25m a year, which is huge for an injury-prone big man who seems to be on the decline.

OKC would have to add in a pick (of which they now have plenty) maybe, to find a willing trade partner.

    You never know, though.

ESPN reported that OKC have shopped him but his current contract makes him all but untradable

His contract is the issue but he's not at all injury-prone. He played 80 regular season games last season.

He's most likely the veteran guy on team of kids. OKC will rebuild for the next two years and then he signs somewhere else (probably with a contender).

It will be interesting to see him on a team that uses his offensive potential. I reckon he can be better than he's shown so far

A veteran at 25 (soon to be 26).

This has been one of the most fascinating free agency periods in years.

@canefan I totally agree. He is so underutilised. I blame ball hog Westbrook.

I'd love it if he played with LeBron somehow.

Thought this was a really good summary about the 'insiders' and their reporting of the Kawhi saga:

Now OKC trades Westbrook to Houston for Chris Paul and a swag of picks!

    The NBA is something else.

FWIW I don't know if that's a great trade for OKC (replacing an older, injury-prone PG with another), but now they have a huge swag of first round picks over the next seven years.

How many years does CP3 have on his contract? I think he gets paid too much to get another trade but I am sure if a contender wanted him a deal is always possible. So Harden can shoot threes and Russ can concentrate on slashing to the rim. Wait a minute, how many balls are there?

    From Google:

Paul signed a four-year deal with the Rockets last season worth $159.7 million that has the team on the hook for a whopping $38.5 million for next season, $41.3 million the season afterwards, and finally $44.2 million in 2021/2022 at the age of 36.

    So much for Miami.

    From ESPN:
Oklahoma City general manager Sam Presti worked with Westbrook and his agent, Thad Foucher, to deliver the former MVP to his preferred destination: a reunion with James Harden, sources said.

Wonder if OKC is about to swing a deal with the Lakers so Paul can play alongside his buddy Lebron. Looks like it. Presti is winning this offseason even if his team will suck this season.

@Sneakdefreak yeah I have seen this scenario this morning mentioned by several people on social media. Not sure how likely it actually is though.

Paul would work for OKC if they had another go-to player but they have absolutely no one.

Wait......it's all coming to fruition........Adams is about to become a 30-10 player ............

    I'll see myself out

out of the billion trades that have happened all I wanted was Adams to be traded somewhere (ideally the spurs). Instead they literally traded everyone else except him. Fuck sakes.
