I do not have faith that an attack with Henry and Santner can replicate the Indian's consistency with the ball - but I guess anything is possible.
Sounds like it's a new pitch so was hard to predict how it would play.
If Henry has one of his good games then he'll be a real handful.
Yet all the experts pre-game had looked at it and were predicting a belter.

Yeah, thats the thing. If we smash it from here and get 250 .. it proves the pitch is fine and India will be home in 30 overs.

Yeah, thats the thing. If we smash it from here and get 250 .. it proves the pitch is fine and India will be home in 30 overs.
Then it was a 300+ pitch and our skipper's strike rate doomed us from the start.
Doubt this is the case, even if we got 260 the bowlers still have to do the business. Against Pakistan the pitch played in our favour in the second innings and we couldn't take advantage.

The cynic in me thinks Ross bats cautiously to his average of around 40 and if he gets there, then he starts hitting out.
