<p>Man, I'm in a tv dead spot at the moment.</p>

<p>I usually just watch an episode of a show while I eat breakfast, one show on the ferry, and then one in the evening - and I'm not really enjoying any of them.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Daredevil: I've had to force myself to watch this after starting ages ago when it came out and when everyone was hyping it to bits. I'm about 8 episodes in and I just don't get why it's so popular. What I don't get is why they do semi standalone episodes when it's Netflix show.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Hell on Wheels S5: The previous 4 seasons have been enjoyable throwaway TV (i.e. not Deadwood, but just a watchable show) but this season has been terrible, really terrible. It completely feels like a whole new show.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>And to make it all worse I'm watching Friday Night Lights on my commute, which is one of my favourite shows ever, but season 2 was a huge misfire, and I'm up to season 2, it's actually worse than I remember it.</p>

<p>I can't wait to finish all this and watch something decent ... looks like Narcos will be on that list.</p> -
I've been wondering how you guys manage to watch so much tv , I haven't seen a lot of the shows you talk about.<br><br>
Mariner the original British series with Francis Urquhart was bloody good too , I'd be interested to see how it stands up today . Spaceys version didn't really do it for me, I do like that they kept the characters initials FU -

<p>Started latest series of Orange is the New Black, canned it after about 4 eps I think it was...might get around to finishing it, but in no rush.</p>

<p>Have Hell on Wheels to watch, wont rush into that either then.</p>

<p>Been watching one of my guilty pleasures, Falling Skies, last series sucked, this series is much better, and would seem they have an awful lot to achieve in the final ever episode! </p>

<p>Also been watching Hannibal, 3rd series seems all over the show, with flash backs and dream scenes, no idea whats up or down sometimes! </p> -

i finally caved and watched Game of thrones season 5. I'd watched the first couple of eps but got a bit bored and then I kept hearing how the series had veered so much from the books and had gone a bit crap. <br><br>
Well I'm glad I did go back to it, immensely enjoyed the last 5 or so episodes, don't really care that it isnt following the books. to be honest I felt the last couple of books had started to meander all over the place. If anyone else is in the same boat I recommend get back on it! Also now that its caught up I have genuinely no idea what is going to happen -
House of Cards. I find Zoe Barnes and every part she is in boring.

<p>It was ok, started really well, but there were a lot of slow parts by the end of the series</p>

<p>[spoiler]And seriously, supposedly Frank has spent months/years planning all of this stuff, and 3 young reporters are able to untangle the whole thing in a couple of days? Fucking bullshit. And they had to make some pretty big leaps of faith that somehow all turned out to be accurate.<br><br>
As for Frank, who is supposed to be this Machiavellian schemer, so far his 2 biggest "victories" have come from getting a guy to punch him in the face, and killing a bloke. Anyone could do that.<br><br>

<p>Anywhoo...Mr. Robot - really enjoyed this series, thought it started slow but picked up about ep 5/6 onwards, and 8/9 were really good.</p>

<p>Thought Rami Malek was very good as Elliott, as well as most of the others.</p>

<p>[spoiler]Hope we learn more about Tyrell and his wife in the next season, they are very intriguing, assuming Elliott hasnt killed him.<br><br>
Once you knew Darlene was his sister was easy to figure out Mr. Robot was his dad and as such, dead.<br><br>
Be interesting to see where they go with it though.[/spoiler]</p>
